Trumpers have claimed the military is fake on a number of occasions. This is only the most recent. As usual, Putin has the useful idiots claiming generals are fake. Like Trump did when he claimed, "trust me, I know more than the generals".

Discrediting and sowing distrust in the US military has long been a Trump platform.

We should not be surprised when that is supported by, "if you don't agree, you're gay." That's Trumper speed.
