The military needs more good officers like him.

He may have just been fired, but I'll bet there are many many young Marines who would follow him anywhere.

So you think LTC Vindman is a hero as well??? His brother was unjustly fired??? ✌️

He's entitled to his opinion. He's also obligated to share that up the chain-of-command if he wants to share. Military members serving don't get to do online op-eds on superior's decisions, even if and when they screw up.

Pentagon Generals: Hey let's close Bagram airbase and stage our entire exfiltration out of a commercial airport in the middle of Kabul.

Joe Biden: Sounds good to me. Make it so!

Who knows best how to do this - the Generals or Biden? I would expect him to take their advice.

He did share it.

He was more than willing to lose his career over his stance.

No. If he was more than willing he would have retired first. That he did not demonstrates his lack of integrity.

Back to Trump again .....huh?

You are worse than a scratched 33 LP.

That's a random stupid complaint. We're at a political debate forum, not your Facebook page. Trump is likely to come up a lot. Do you go to freshwater fishing forums and complain people talk about bass?

So Biden is excused for this major malfunction then because he listened to his generals.

Has zero to do with this man. Try harder.
Only because the MAGA crowd 'likes' the Marine's rant. But yes it does. One Vindman was retired because he failed to use the chain of command to report an issue. The other out of MAGA spite...

This Marine Bn Commander chose to vent his emotional social media whine for all to see instead of his chain of command. For an Officer with 17 years in a branch noted for it's discipline he seems to let his emotions cloud his judgement. Before social media, military members would gather off duty to pitch a bitch over burgers and beers- then return to duty...

Gen McCrystal being relieved after comments critical of the President should remind active duty officers they can't publicly attack the chain of command. This looks like another Allen West in the making... :cautious:

Your trying too hard... ✌️

Stuck on MAGA like the group thinker you are?

He should have retired because it gives him more "street cred" according to the likes of Ecofarm.

I see.

Brilliant.

He did not will it himself. He could have. He had the power to. But no will. So he was not "more than willing". If he retired first, he can talk all the shit he wants and keep the respect of soldiers.

Trying to get away with what we are not allowed to do is not admirable. If he believes his words, then he should have done it right. Since he didn't and he shit on our standards of discipline, he can **** off.

He wants to go out like a punk, don't expect me to be impressed.
