Special Evening with 2019 JW Convention Delegates, South Korea

Enjoy this beautiful program by our dear brothers and sisters from South Korea. The presentation portrayed the persecution our brothers suffered in Korea for decades.

The South Koreans seem particularly vulnerable to cults. Sun Yen Moon came from South Korea.

Love Never Fails Johannesburg South Africa 2019 From A to Z.

Love Never Fails in Johannesburg, South Africa, 2019 From A to Z. Africa to Zurich. The love and hospitality was unrivaled and truly a life changing experience. Our worldwide brotherhood is amazing. "But as for us, we cannot stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20. We are determined to spread the seeds of love.

Unless someone quits believing what they are supposed to believe. Then there is no love.

Any religion that knows it holds the truth welcomes outsiders, welcomes challenges, because it knows Truth will win out in the end. Any religion based on lies is afraid of outsiders, because it knows it's dogma cannot survive when confronted with the truth.

Which of those is JW?

Former Jehovah’s Witnesses Speak Out Against the Cruel Practice of Shunning
An estimated 70,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses are disfellowshipped every year — roughly 1% of the church’s total population, according to data published by the Watchtower. Their names are published at local Kingdom Halls. Of those, two-thirds never return.

Are the Deliverance Vocals done before or after the Protecting the Child Molesters Vocals?

The Secret Jehovah’s Witness Database of Child Molesters - The Atlantic
In March 1997, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, the nonprofit organization that oversees the Jehovah’s Witnesses, sent a letter to each of its 10,883 U.S. congregations, and to many more congregations worldwide. The organization was concerned about the legal risk posed by possible child molesters within its ranks. The letter laid out instructions on how to deal with a known predator: Write a detailed report answering 12 questions—Was this a onetime occurrence, or did the accused have a history of child molestation? How is the accused viewed within the community? Does anyone else know about the abuse?—and mail it to Watchtower’s headquarters in a special blue envelope. Keep a copy of the report in your congregation’s confidential file, the instructions continued, and do not share it with anyone.

Elvira, Watchtower is your go to source for answers in regards to answering moral questions. People who protect child molesters. Does that make sense?

Well, it explains our position regarding our faith for who truly want to understand...

Tell me in your own words what I should understand. I don't have time to watch a video that you can't even explain.

I know a bit about JWs. I know theirs is a rather new faith, relatively speaking. I know they said the first generation of members would be among the 144 chosen, and that the End Times would happen before the last one of them passed. I also know that was incorrect as well as all the other times they predicted the world would end were incorrect.

I know the state has to step in when they won't allow one of their children to have life-saving blood transfusions.

I know I turn them away on my doorstep.

What more is there to know?

You tell me -- don't show me a video.

And they are opposed to celebrating Christmas and Easter and birthdays.
I wonder whether they are allowed to celebrate anything?

Keep in mind this was built from the ground up all in 5 days, by volunteers...I've had the privilege of helping at a few kingdom hall builds...

This is a time lapse video of a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses built in 5 days. This was taken in Salt Lake City, Utah from June 2-6, 2010.

I forgot about that. Now that you mention it, it brings to mind a brother and sister (twins) who were JWs when I was just a child. I remember them having to be silent when we said the Pledge and having to go to the principal's office when we celebrated a student's birthday (we did that once a month). I remember Judy (the sister) crying once when she had to leave.

Things like that are to make the parishioners feel separated from the world -- to make them see the world as bad -- when really it's the church leadership that's harming the children by insisting they not take part.

JW kids are severely restricted from doing all kinds of things unless it's sanctioned/run by the Kingdom Hall and/or only with other JW's.

Things like Girl/Boy Scouts. No can do.

No birthday parties. No Trick-or-Treating. No summer camp that isn't specific to and run by JW's.

It's rather surprising that JW children are allowed to attend public schools.
Most likely only because there's not enough money to build JW specific schools in every little town and hamlet across the world.

It's got a lot of similarities with cult control, that's for sure.
