Kids react to rotary phones.

I would love to find a good rotary phone. Those things would probably last through a nuclear war. They are so hard to find. I should look online. Probably could find one there.

Check in the western PA area - around Pittsburgh. They have more rotary phones than the rest of the country, combined.

yep...the person on the other end could tell you slammed it down....kind of hard to hang up on some one with authority when your on a cell phone...all you can do is push the button real hard but here's no satisfaction in that.................now, if you had a rotary phone with the extra long cord that would reach from the kitchen to the bathroom you were cool...but if you actually had a phone IN the bathroom...well...you were in a class all by yourself

Plus it just felt so good to slam that phone down. My best friend in high school had a phone on the kitchen wall by the door that led to the staircase upstairs, and a phone at the top of the stairs in his Mom's room on her nightstand. I'd take one receiver, he'd take the other and we'd meet in the middle on the stairs and make prank calls for hours. Those were the days...
