House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Monday torched House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, accusing him of lying throughout the impeachment inquiry process against President Trump.

“Schiff dislikes this president so much, he will lie and lie and do anything to impeach this president,” McCarthy, R-Calif., told “Fox & Friends.”

McCarthy went on to detail the alleged lies by Schiff, including dubious claims about Trump's ties to Russia as the Mueller probe unfolded.

"We found out that was a lie," McCarthy said. "Remember when he said he wished he knew who the whistleblower was? That was a lie.”

Republicans have been criticizing Schiff, D-Calif., for subpoenaing and releasing phone records of calls between the office of former Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and Rudy Giuliani, Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, and journalist John Solomon.

McCarthy knows better than to cast aspersions on fellow members of the Senate and Congress. It's okay to disagree, but to call a fellow "liar" is beyond the pale

The Mueller Report revealed that there were over 127 documented instances of contact between Russia and Trump and his staff, one can hardly conclude that as "dubious".

Let’s not be unfair, much less libelous. It’s not that the members of Congress present were involved in crimes or illegal activity of any kind; no, it’s that they seem so craven, cynical, and, ultimately small-time. They have sunk so low that they are willing to get behind a candidate for whom they clearly have no regard. Because, well, that’s “this [expletive] life that we live.”

In the transcript published by the Post, McCarthy speculates that the Russians hacked the Democratic National Committee’s computers and, in the process, discovered whatever opposition-research materials the Democrats had gathered on Trump.

Hey now, they have the totally compelling argument that you can’t impeach a president without documents and fact witnesses, and all the documents are covered by executive privilege and nobody has to testify because the executive branch is immune.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. A good read is when it has loads of truth mixed with jokes, and Schiff is the biggest one of all. He reminds me of the kid in class who never quite fit in. You knew he always wanted to be involved in the activities of normal kids buty would always be off in a corner watching because he knew he was an oaf and a cheat and a fraud and always got caught. Schiff has been "caught" by the Republicans who know he will never testify and why they sent a proxy attorney who got that job because he donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to them. Makes one wonder how much the DNC is paying this guy to help them assassinate Trump.

The impeachment is OVER folks. Done, finished, kaput. They know it will not even go to trial and they are really breathing a sigh of relief because they would be exposed as the frauds they are when Biden and Schiff and the whistle blower refuse to testify.
