Latham claims it has nothing to do with his abilities as a teacher and everything to do with his conservative politics.
I love how conservatives say "Wait wait, there are two sides to the Miss California Pageant, don't just to conclusions that she missed the events", but here they say the teacher is automatically telling the truth and it is the school's fault.
Way to go off Topic typical Left change the subject or re-direct, I guess you missed the part about him being ask about the McCain-Palin bumper sticker.
So I guess that I should fire the six folks who work for me because they all have Obama Bumper Sticker correct. Or does the 1st Adm only apply to you fine folks on the Left.

Again, you don't know about his performenace, you don't know his record and you automatically jump to conclusions.
Way to go following hypocrisy.
Way to not answer my question, I guess you must not have read the article.

Tim Latham, who has spent the last 19 years teaching students American history and government, spent the past school year at a high school in Lawrence, Kan. — and it appears his first year at the school will be his last.
Latham claims it has nothing to do with his abilities as a teacher and everything to do with his conservative politics.
Yep another sign of Hope and Change brought to you by the fine folks from the Left.
Latham — who was criticized for not airing President Obama's inaugural address during an American history class — says he first realized during a meeting last September with Assistant Principal Jan Gentry that his personal political views weren't making the grade with the rest of the faculty at the 2,000-student Lawrence High School.

I see nothing surprising here. The writing on the wall since the contract with America made such a positive impact on the nation and put Conservatism back on the front burned and made the Republicans the majority party in the 104th congress while Bill Clinton was in the middle of his first term.
From that day forward plans to take control back by the left have become more and more pernicious and the frustrations they suffered have lead to blind rage in many cases that have made common sense and rational thought in the direction of what is best for the Country and our Citizens secondary to victory at any cost.
The election of Barack Obama has emboldened them and replaced the blind rage with blind obedience to fallow a false prophet or Messiah. I must admit that some of the fasle promises of things like reduced taxes for 95% of Americans sounded great. However most of those of us who were not in a mind preset to believe everything we hear that sounds good saw the false promises.
This teacher has been caught up in a major push to cement the liberal agenda in positions in all walks of life that will allow them to begin to indoctrinate young people in "leftest fundamentalism". If you're not familiar with the term it's because it's being seen here for the first time. It refers to the basic "the good of the many outweigh the good of the few" as long as it steeped in the tradition of "From each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need” always cloaked in American sounding slogans in order to hide the truth. Most who fall into this are unaware they are being manipulated. As time goes on and this movement goes unchecked fewer and fewer stories will surface as the major media are part of the problem and people like this teacher are becoming an extremely rare commodity in all schools especially in journalism.
I don't expect you to take this at face value just think about this.
Spreading the wealth for example will not work in the long run because when there in no one higher up the ladder, there is no one up there to reach down and help any one else move up.
Action and thought are needed more now than ever and if it goes unchecked well the result will be the downfall of the Nation and Obama will get his wish, "America is the greatest nation ever and with your help we can change it".
Well, from the article, it sounds like the school is wrong. But it also states in the article that the various persons in charge made no comment, so who knows?
I found the link to his school website is interesting.

Could you post the link?
During Latham's brief meeting with Gentry, he claims Gentry told him his school-affiliated Web site was "too patriotic." The site has links to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the Air Force, the U.S. Army and other military-and history-related sites.
It's to bad. His polotics sound like they had little to do with his teaching.
I don't understand how the school can dump what sounds like a good teacher based on his political leanings?
It doesn't sound like he wasn't making the grade, it sounds like he was being a partisan shill in class. Why would you not air the inaugural address in class? What a perfect opportunity to allow the students to discuss what the President says verses what his actions are. Also seems like it could have been a little bigoted.
