Kamala Harris' Race & Ethnicity (1 Viewer)

Her father from Jamaica?
yes.

"Donald J. Harris is the father of Kamala Harris. He is a Jamaican-American economist and professor emeritus at Stanford University, originally from Saint Ann's Bay, Jamaica. Of Jamaican descent, Harris was born on August 23, 1938, to Beryl Christie Harris (née Finegan)[20][21] and Oscar Joseph Harris.[22] He grew up in the Orange Hill area of Saint Ann Parish, near Brown's Town.[23][24]"

For those who are still confused.

Kamala Harris' mother was Indian and her dad was Jamaican.

That makes her Indian, Black and African American.

The majority of Jamaica's Black population have a familial history rooted in the import of slaves after the tribal populations were killed off:

Harris' father DONALD J. Harris (lol) had Afro-Jamaican parents.

All clear? Good.
Wrong...that makes her American!

The only time someone brings her race, ethnicity, and parental heritage up is because you(not you but the person who brought it up) hope it will have a negative impact on a certain type of voters you trying to win..which says more about you and the voters you are trying to win

Why is she not proud of her JAMAICAN heritage?

The facts are, trump can't fix what he can't do, and try's to make whatever; and, the same the evidence in the past of those who try too for the posters above!

As if it matters to you and people like you anyway.

You have the same disdain for both groups.
You know this about me how?

Is it wrong to criticize a Jamaican?

I have a Jamaican and an Indian and no blacks. I do have a Rachel Dolezal.

Don't you understand the difference between ethnicity and race?

Or am I just wasting my time, same as some people around here can't comprehend what a white Mexican or black Colombian is.

I understand she is a Rachel Dolezal is what understand.

I myself am mostly white European with 14% Filipino. I'm just as proud of that 14% as I am of that 86% other. Not because any of that is from "superior" stock, but it is me. You should be proud to be any race but never to the point of superiority. Proud because it's your life, your roots. It's you.
OMG such an excellent view.
She is a privileged Jamaican.
And now ahead in the polls. Please, keep focusing on her race!👍👍👍

Stop with this BS. Jamaica is not in Africa. It is an island country located in the Caribbean Sea. Kamala has less African American in her than I do and that is zero.

🤣

You understand that the vast majority of Jamaicans are descended from African slaves, right?

So Rachel Dolezal has an Indian mother and Jamacian father as well? If not please clarify Dolezals ethnicities and why you think Harris is the same.
She identifies as black and honed her accent.

🤣

Irrelevant. I am French and possibly a descendent of slaves who were black.
