WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, police announced Thursday.The Metropolitan Police said its officers went into the embassy, where Assange has been living for the past seven years, to detain him for "failing to surrender to the court" over a warrant issued in 2012.
He has been taken into custody at a central London police station, police said.

Not only that, imagine them trashing their room, refusing to shower, mooching free Wifi and security, making waves your friends, and then badmouthing your generosity publicly.

Wikileaks was kind of interesting a decade ago, but ever since Assange became Putin's ass monkey, he's become a skinny, white haired Alex Jones, that throws his weight around, and takes full advantage of the image his fanboys have given him of being some kind of journalist.
 
I enjoy watching CNN replay footage of officers dragging Assange out of the Embassy!

Assange, age 47, looks like a haggard old man. I expect his crappy life to become even more crappy in the coming months and years.

Count me among the very many who do not like Assange.

He's a dumbass. Why a guy would put himself under house arrest for 7 years only to be arrested the minute his welcome wears off is beyond me.

Reports indicate he had badly worn out his welcome and considered a rude and unwelcome guest doing things like skateboarding indoors through the embassy hallways and stealing internet.
 
Guests are like fish. After 3 days, both stink.
 
Assange did nothing wrong, Trump should do something about this, anything. He should live free in America.
 
The implications of this will be extraordinary.

Sweden dropped their case against him. Britain has first dibs on him now for jumping bail and then he will face extradition to the US.

I doubt he would live long, with the way people have tried to treat him in the past and in the present.

No he won't. UK has said they won't extradite to a death penalty country.

Wouldn't we have to know what the US plans to charge him with to tell if it would even be a federal death penalty case?
