Here is a bipartisan example for you. Consider Drunk drivers who get into accidents. people on both the right and the left are fine with holding the person providing the alcohol culpable for the actions of the drunk.

Holding Librarians responsible for dispensing restricted literature falls neatly in line with historical norms.

Who decides which books are to be labeled restricted literature?
 
People defend introducing various books to children because they do not know what is in the books.
