19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar is among those who had a paid membership to the cheating website Ashley Madison, according to data published by Gawker. The affair service was the victim of a hack in July, with member information posted online.
According to Gawker, a credit card under the name Joshua J. Duggar was use to pay for an account. The address listed along with the card was that of the Fayetteville, Arkansas home his grandmother Mary owns. The residence was featured on 19 Kids and Counting, whichTLC canceled in July after Duggar admitted to having molested several underage girls years ago, including two of his sisters.
That credit card was used to purchase two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions, costing $986.76 from February 2013 to May 2015. He reportedly opened another account using his address in Oxon Hill, Maryland, where he lived when he was lobbying as part of his job as the executive director of the conservative Family Research Council. That account was registered in July 2014, and was paid monthly through May 2015.
Duggar resigned his role in Family Research Council in the wake of the molestation scandal. The organization fought against gay marriage and says its mission is "to champion marriage and family as the foundation of civilization."
Amazing how he claimed same-sex marriage devalued marriage when he was paying to cheat on his wife. The "family values" crowd is so predictable.
A number of the accounts allegedly had fake email addresses. But, it will be interesting to see who else in the U.S. pop up. A bunch of military email addresses showed up, as well as Vatican ones.

I didn't hear about the Vatican ones. Wow.A number of the accounts allegedly had fake email addresses. But, it will be interesting to see who else in the U.S. pop up. A bunch of military email addresses showed up, as well as Vatican ones.
There's more to this than just a fake email acct

I took a look at the data already. The credit card transaction dump is separated by month which shows the recurring transactions associated with Duggar's subscription. As sangha said, it contains all of Duggar's information.Still, it's not confirmed Josh used the card to pay for the account.
Josh Duggar Had Membership to Cheating Website Ashley Madison (Report)
At least he's doing it with adults......this time
I read earlier that he actually had 2 separate accounts, and he had a laundry list of special types of sex that he was looking for.
He paid probably over $1,000 for Ashley Madison...
OMG. No way he didn't cheat on his wife. I can't imagine how his wife is going to react to this.
He probably spent more then it woulda cost to go to Elko, Nev. And the house in Elko would've made sure his privacy was taken care of for a grand.
I dunno, quite a lot of high profile Christians who condemn anything but heterosexual marriage have been caught in these kinds of things: Jimmy Swaggart and Ted Haggard come to mind.Assuming this is actually true (I wouldn't put it past a bunch of agenda driven hackers to forge data, after all), it would appear that he's pretty clearly got some personal demons to work through. He's had them for quite some time, if his track record is any indication.
That's something I'm sorry to hear, and I wish his wife and family the best of luck therein. However, I can't really say that I care much about the issue besides that. One son of a small time celebrity family being outed as a philandering douche is ultimately just that - One son of a small time celebrity family being outed as a philandering douche.

Yeah but the Kennedys weren't exactly high horse preachers like the examples I gave, which was my point. :2razz:And how about the Clintons and Kennedys? Hell! Ted Kennedy seems to have straight up murdered a girl he was almost certainly screwing on the side, and the Clintons basically seem to have been living a sham marriage for political purposes for the last several decades.

Pound for pound, no. I don't think Conservative Christians are worse than the other side of the aisle. The opposite is most likely the case, in point of fact.
Christians just take more crap for it when they do fall, because they hold themselves to a higher standard to begin with.
The real problem here is, and pretty much always has been, the corrupting influence of money, power, and fame. Combined with the sorts of problematic personality types which tend to be drawn to more "public" and "political" careers in the first place, it can tend to be a lethal combination.
Are the Nazis less to blame for the Holocaust simply because they didn't exactly preach a philosophy of "justice, peace, and love?" Bad behavior is bad behavior.
The bottom line here is that you're looking at men, and men are flawed. Trying to pass off the individual failings of a few individual men as also being the failings of every idea to which they might've ever happened to subscribe is fallacious at best, and nonsensical at worst.
At the end of the day, no one's hands are clean, and no one is without a skeleton or two in the closet.
After all, it was not said that...
"Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." - Eleanor Roosevelt
...for no reason.
Unfortunately, headlines like these tend to make for a veritable field day for the "small minded." [emoji38]
LOL first you bring up the Kennedys and now youre bringing up the Nazis? Calm down. [emoji38]
My point is that people ought to practice what they preach: if one engages in homosexuality and adultery then dont preach against it in public.
