The more people see him the worse he will do. When you look at Biden, see Bob Torricelli. Joe is a mere placeholder at this point.

Trump meanwhile is fearless.

You could counter with facts on what he did in january in february, but I am guessing you didn't because you know its true that he didn't do anything and don't really have anything of substance to counter with.

No, not really. You see we recall similar polls making the same claims for the hildabeast at this point in the 2016 election.

I sincerely hope that most democrats think as foolishly as you do all the way up to the November election. Calling it a fluke is just stupid. Trump tapped into a populist blue collar movement that was never on Hillary or the democrat party's radar.

The polls were pretty much on the money. Hillary won the popular vote by nearly 3 million. Trump squeaked out 3 Blue States because of votes by Sanders supporters. It will not happen again. Trump was elected by the Socialists you hate so much. Aren't you proud?

The impact of those votes was significant. In each of the three states that ultimately swung the election for Trump—Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania—Trump's margin of victory over Clinton was smaller than the number of Sanders voters who gave him their vote.

Good thing one candidate, for the 2020 Presidency, has experience with fixing a Republican lead destruction of our nations economy. Biden along with Obama did a masterful job digging the U.S. out of a near depression from Bush and GOP policies.

Once again, it will take a Democrat President to save our nations econom,y ravished by trump's dismal leadership during this pandemic, which lead to a health and economic crisis. Yes, Covid 19 started the issue, but trump's poor leadership, divisiveness, blame game and self serving approach has magnified and extended the negative consequences of the pandemc.

Maybe a Democrat in 2024 will be able to walk into the healthy growing economy like trump did.

News flash. We do not elect presidents with the popular vote. We elect them by electoral college. And the pollster blew the state by state polls. They even admitted as much.

He set up a panel of experts, he blocked travel from infected countries and according to Fauci said yes to every step he recommended. What is it you would have liked him to do?

And while we are on the subject of honesty challenged liberals, have you voiced criticism of New York liberal leadership? I am going to bet the answer is no. Well here is your chance.. Maybe you would like to comment on DiBlasio saying on March 10 how New Yorkers hd nothing to worry about and could get on with their lives. Or maybe how Cuomo demanded that nursing homes admit virus patients leading to the deaths of thousands. Or maybe you would like to comment about how the NY subways were cleaned for the first time yesterday. You know, after 20000 deaths. Go ahead, prove me wrong. Be the first liberal to engage in honest debate here...

The buck stops with trump. Neither of those guys has the information trump has. Trump was warned by the CIA back in November about this, but continued to lie about it and dismiss it as a hoax. Trump could have ramped up manufacturing of testing and medical devices(neither deblasio or coumo have the power to do) but why would he. He just thought it was the flu.

His margin of victory in the 3 blue States was less than the number of Sanders supporters that voted for Trump. He only won because socialists voted for him. They won't be making that mistake again.

That's not entirely accurate.

In 1980 there definitely were some polls that showed Carter up late, like the infamous Gallup poll that had him up 8 with 2 weeks left. But by and large the polls showed Reagan with the momentum and almost all the polls at the end showed Reagan leading, including the final Gallup one. Gallup Presidential Election Trial-Heat Trends, 1936-2004

In 2000, while I can't find a great list of public polls, what I can find shows that altogether they did very well, (with this source finding an error of barely a percentage point overall and that 7 of the polls included overstated Bush while just 2 overstated Gore).Presidential Poll Performance 2000 | NCPP - National Council on Public Polls

In 2004, polls by and large showed Bush leading, with no polls outside the error range you'd expect from a bunch of polls done well. RealClearPolitics - Election 2004 - General Election: Bush vs. Kerry

They also weren't really that off in 2016, but that's been pointed out to death in this thread already.

None of which says of course that polls in May are particularly predictive for what happens in November.
