I don't know. I don't know how it works. My guess- a shipping container gets unsealed and a quick check made to see if the contents match the paperwork is about it. No way on earth is every garment checked so it's not surprising that mislabeled or unlabeled stuff gets by.

They wouldn't need to check each garment.

Every item in a batch is made the same way, so spot checks would find any problems.

I hope people don't think that US Customs doesn't check items just because Trump was a businessman.

Remember this was all from before he was even running for President, so it can't have anything to do with that.

No.
Trump got elected by harping about 'Buy American!' and 'MAGA!'. It's one thing to accept the realities of the global economy and another thing altogether to preach to the masses about local dealing and America firsting while making big bucks by working around the high wages and safety regulations in the US and hiring 'Sri Lanka First!'.
That's hypocrisy.

1. I don't remember her having done so, and

2. Even if she did, you are never going to find her making anywhere near the degree of lies, misleading statements, threats, and insults on a near-daily basis that Trump does, and

3. Didja ever read the part I sent you where yes, an enlisted man can be a legal officer? Because after I sent you that, you stopped replying to me for a long time. I tried my best to give you an out, in that pointing out that you probably never had anywhere close to the number of TAD assignments I had because you were probably good enough at your job that your chief and/or DivO never wanted to let you go, whereas I sucked as an engineer, so they were only too happy to send me to other assignments, which is how I wound up doing things that pit snipes never, ever do. In a month or three, I'll probably be going back over to the PI (but it's not set in stone yet), and my last service record is at my house there, and I'll be able to post you a doggone picture of my evals so you can see for yourself that I never lied about what I've done. You see, that's what ticks me off is that you're on the side that constantly defends a guy who's been shown to lie or make misleading statements on an average of more than five per day. You stand with them...but you're so doggone eager to call me a liar, even though I've never lied to you or anyone else here. To be sure, there are times I haven't said everything that I know, and there've been times I've been truly, stupidly wrong...but I've never knowingly and willingly lied on this or any other blog I've participated in.

Okay? So it's your right to stand with the "lies-an-average-of-more-than-five-times-a-day idiot-in-chief"...but it's a vast hypocrisy to stick up for him while being so quick to call others liars when there is no one living to my knowledge who has demonstrated the ability or tendency to publicly lie (with easily-disproven lies, mind you) as Trump has. But y'all still somehow think he's the best thing since sliced bread. Indeed, Reagan is spinning like a top in his grave.
