From the article:

Islamist insurgents in Burkina Faso have stepped up attacks on civilians, carrying out door-to-door killings, slitting throats and attacking Christian worshippers, a report by campaign group Human Rights Watch (HRW) says.

It quoted data showing that more than 6,000 deaths, including around 1,000 civilian killed by Islamists insurgents, have been recorded in the West African state in the first eight months of the year.

The world's outrage over the murder of innocents is extremely selective and agenda-driven. Islamosupremacy is NEVER held to account for the atrocities it is responsible for.

So I'm guessing you miss the Wagner Group being there?

Let the non sequitur parade begin.

6,000 people killed, and that's what you have?
No, I'm saying that people of Burkina Faso have been being killed for years and to try to blame a single group is misplaced.

The twenty plus year long conflict with Al Qaeda and the decade plus long war against ISIS show that to be laughably, unequivocally false. The idea that people don’t care about the attacks of Islamic extremists is total and blatant nonsense.

What they don’t do, on the other hand, is buy into the lie that the extremists are the ones who have the “correct” interpretation of Islam.

I have no problem whatsoever blaming murdering thugs for being murdering thugs.

From the article you posted:

Meanwhile, a humanitarian crisis is growing. In January 2023, the head of the UN Office for West Africa and the Sahel warned that armed conflicts have worsened human suffering and forced millions to flee. Roughly 2.7 million people have been displaced and 1.6 million children are malnourished, according to UN estimates. Russia’s war against Ukraine has further exacerbated food insecurity in a region where climate change and war already threaten local agriculture. Multiple military coups have occurred in the region since 2020: two each in Burkina Faso and Mali, one in Chad, and another in neighboring Guinea.

If this were happening anywhere else in the world, it would be updated in blaring headlines daily. But, it's happening in an area and to people that apparently nobody cares about.

Another place in the world where Russia is failing miserably.

Ok, look. More Islamists murdering more people in Africa. I guess it's just more Muslims getting the peaceful message of the Qur'an "wrong". Again. Still.

Right. Who in their right mind would think that "Fight those who believe not in Allah" means "Fight those who believe not in Allah"????

I mean, that's just crazy talk.

Burkina Faso is over sixty percent Muslim. If any of what you claimed was even remotely true, the Islamic extremists should have taken over the country by now.

Why haven’t they?

False dichotomy.

There is no "if" involved. Verse 9:29 says, "Fight those who believe not in Allah .....". Period.

And yet tens of millions of Muslims utterly reject your claims about their religion. If any of what you said held any validity they should be eagerly flocking to Islamist extremist groups by the hundreds of thousand.....not fighting and dying to stop them.

And yet tens of millions of Muslims utterly reject your claims about their religion.

No they don't. They reject the Qur'an's commands. You seem to think that characterizing direct orders in the Qur'an as "my claims" is a real argument. What utter nonsense. Muslims who don't obey the Qur'an are nothing more than Muslims who don't obey the Qur'an, even if they know full well what it tells them to do.

It would be more accurate to say that tens of millions of Muslims reject their religion's exhortantions to commit violence. We could actually agree on that. It's the ones who obey that are the problem. And you know it. You just like to pretend otherwise. You're not nearly as good at this as you seem to think.

If any of what you said held any validity they should be eagerly flocking to Islamist extremist groups by the hundreds of thousand

The number of Muslims who do indeed "flock to extremist groups", and those who support, encourage, and fund them, are enough to create the world-wide Islamosupremacy/terrorism problem that we will face for the foreseeable future.

not fighting and dying to stop them.

This deserves a separate response.

You seem to be trying to float the idea that Muslims who fight the likes of ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hoko Haram, Al Shabab, etc, etc, etc, etc, are doing so to preserve the integrity of Islam - that they are trying to save the world from the Islamofacism that those actors would impose upon us in the name of all Islam.

Yeah, not so much. They're fighting to save their own asses and their own hold on power. And that doesn't even count the Muslims who are killing each other for 'doing Islam wrong'.

Your shtick needs work.

Oh really? The overwhelming majority of the hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world “reject the Quran’s commands?” 🙄 Nobody’s buying that line of drivel, dude.

Except that’s blatantly untrue, as shown by the actual behavior and teachings of hundreds of millions of Muslims, and the fact that if any of what you claimed were actually true Muslims should be flocking to groups like ISIS by the hundred of thousand.

In reality, of course, no such thing has occurred, because your claims are bigoted garbage.

No, they reject the warped claims of people like you, who ignore reality in favor of clinging to claims that a fanatical, tiny minority has the “proper interpretation”.

And which is a tiny fraction of the worldwide Muslim populace...something no amount of denial can change. If any of what you claimed were actually true groups like ISIS should control vast swathes of the world, instead of being hunted and clinging to power only in the most remote and poorest areas of the globe.

If Islam actually commanded what you claimed, entire nations should be proudly embracing groups like Boko Haram or ISIS.

Gee, the hundreds of thousands of Muslims who’ve died fighting those groups strongly shows that the majority of the Islamic world does not, in fact, support your claims about their religion, yes.

So why haven’t they implemented policies akin to those of ISIS, then? The narrative that well over 95 percent of Muslims worldwide don’t “really” believe in what their religion supposedly commands is deeply silly. Their “asses” wouldn’t be in any danger if what you claimed were true; they would have joined the groups they are fighting against.

Blind denial doesn’t actually change the facts, no matter how desperately you flail in hopes of avoiding it.

Your record is stuck. Time to give the needle a nudge.

There's that stuck record again.

Oops, you accidentally replied to me on this one. I don't know who said, "The overwhelming majority of the hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world “reject the Quran’s commands", but it wasn't me.

You know your arguments are wafer thin when you have to make shit up.

Oops, you failed to provide any evidence to support the thesis that the overwhelming majority of Muslims reject what the Quran teaches.

You also failed pathetically to provide any evidence as to why the governments in power wouldn’t just join forces with ISIS and Al Qaeda if their religion actually supported the extremists’ interpretation. If you actually think those groups would reject gaining vast amounts of tanks, aircraft, and other invaluable resources you simply aren’t living in the real world.

But then again, we’ve already established your entire narrative is complete drivel, so that’s hardly surprising.

That's because I didn't say it. See how that works? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

News flash: Militant Muslim groups/governments fight each other for power.

Anyway, I'm bored with you. Bye until you troll the next thread. Please remember to claim victory on your way out the door.

Yes, everyone can see how pathetically you flee when confronted on the gaping holes in your narrative.

News flash: then those countries should be completely divided between “militant Muslim groups”. Instead, those groups’ power is entirely confined to poor and isolated backwaters. Hmm....as usual, when your fantasies are confronted with real world facts, they fail miserably.

Anyway, you can’t support any of your arguments in any way, shape or form, so you are left to tearfully sob about imaginary “trolling”. Too ****ing funny 😂
