Jeremy Corbyn : "Russia" may NOT be behind spy poison scandal" / an Useful Idiot or a Traitor/Spy?

so who is he?

"CORBYN CRISIS Pressure mounts on Jeremy Corbyn as top Labour MPs launch rebellion over his claims Russia may NOT be behind spy poison scandal

Furious backbenchers are gathering support for their own statement condemning Russia after the Labour leader's spokesperson said he didn't think there was proof yet that Putin was responsible for the Sergei Skripal incident
...

A dozen MPs were said to have backed it so far, and many publically distanced themselves from the spokesperson.

MP Anna Turley said: "I'm afraid Seumus [Jeremy Corbyn's spokesperson] doesn't speak for my Labour or British values."

And Luton South MP Gavin Shuker added "this once great party" in response to the spokesperson's comments."

So Putin has dirt on Corbyn?

Re: Jeremy Corbyn : "Russia" may NOT be behind spy poison scandal" / an Useful Idiot or a Traitor/Sp

There is no proof.. well the British Conservative Government who is under massive pressure and needs a diversion that can "gather the nation", claims that it is the Russians.

What I find odd.. is why wont the British give a sample of the chemical compound to Russia?

And then there is the logic in it.. you want to kill a critic.. sure, but then to use a Russian made cold war nerve agent that will instantly point the fingers at you... makes absolutely no sense.

There is more to this story.. and no I dont trust Putin at all, nor Corbyn or May.. I find it a very odd case, with a lot of questions that the British refuse to answer.

Re: Jeremy Corbyn : "Russia" may NOT be behind spy poison scandal" / an Useful Idiot or a Traitor/Sp

Until/unless someone proves what happened and who did it then yes of course Russia might not be responsible....this is logic 101.

So Putin has dirt on Corbyn?

No. Corbyn has always been cozy with Russia/USSR.

Or maybe he is amoungst the last of the sound thinkers......

Corbyn is also the closest thing Hezbollah has to a friend and ally in the British political system. So no, it's less "sound thinking" and more "knee jerk defense of authoritarianism"

But...

So far as I know, there IS no proof.

The last I heard they knew it was a nerve agent from Russia, developed during the cold war (do these things have a shelf life?) and...that was it, nothing else.

Sounds like he's just speaking reality.

Rattled Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn threatens free Press as he ...

Feb 22, 2018 - JEREMY Corbyn threatened to clamp down on Britain's free Press as he continued to dodge Czech spy scandal questions. The Labour leader ducked out of a grilling by newspapers and TV over links to Jan Sarkocy, an ex-spy for the former Communist regime. Sun Man Matt Dathan trying to get Jeremy ...It came after the under fire hard left Labour boss again refused to answer any detailed questions about his past links to Soviet bloc spies.

Instead, he ducked out of a grilling by The Sun and a host of other TV networks and newspapers by slipping out of a Westminster conference via an undeground car park.

Instead, the 68-year-old Opposition Leader issued a video message lashing out at four of Britain’s most popular newspapers - The Sun, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Express.

At the end of 104 second rant, Mr Corbyn issued his thinly veiled vow for retribution to say: “We’ve got news for them: change is coming”."

Re: Jeremy Corbyn : "Russia" may NOT be behind spy poison scandal" / an Useful Idiot or a Traitor/Sp

My first reaction was "useful idiot" but the article in the Sun does make him look like an informant,.. naive...or disillusioned to the point where he would betray his country?... I'm not really sure. Defending Russia in light of this background certainly makes him appear to be a spy.

Meanwhile it was also claimed that Mr Sarkocy repeatedly told his bosses in the 1980s that Mr Corbyn was a useful source.

agreed, look like he is a traitor

To me it looks like Corbyn is unwilling to Red Bate. Nor do his statements look to be those of an Idiot, Spy, or trader.

What's wrong with letting this play out & not jump to conclusions.

In fact this whole thing looks like a smear job of Putin & Corbyn. The right knows he's going to take power in the UK, the power brokers can't let that happen.

I guess you could say idiot in that a smart politician who doubted the certainty of the Russian state being responsible would have lied to the public and jumped on the popularist bandwagon for the sake of his profitable career. A more generous term might be “honest” (I’ll give the politicos time to look that word up in their dictionaries :) ).

Has OUR world lowered itself to this CRAP !
SHAME !
Real men do NOT participate in childish ''blackmail" .
I voted YES on both options..
The world of today is so strange ..Will Russia ever ''grow up" and become a responsible nation ? Will we , with trump ''leading us", will we become another Nazi-Germany ?

BREAKING : "UK police say Russian Nikolai Glushkov was murdered and open inquiry...
Murdered Russian was friend of exiled Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky, a critic of Vladimir Putin's, but police say no evidence Glushkov's death, due to "intense neck pressure", was linked to Skripal poisonings. "

Yea. Just heard some of the big guys at BP were none to happy with Miss May doing this.

So some of the power brokers may be on the side of Corbyn.

That isn't really relevant to the thread. He could be a full on Communist with a secret hotline to Putin's private office, it wouldn't change the factual or logical basis of his public statements about this. If Stalin said the ocean is wet, it wouldn't stop it being true. :)

"Mr Sarkocy, who worked for the Statni Bezpecnost secret police during the Cold War, says he met Jeremy Corbyn a number of times between 1986 and 1987, including twice in the House of Commons and once in the Islington North MP’s constituency office.

The ex-agent also claims other senior Labour figures shared information with Eastern bloc spies, and has alleged that 15 Labour MPs were informers and were paid between £1,000 and £10,000 for information.

Mr Sarkocy, who now lives in Bratislava, also claimed to have personally organised the Live Aid concert in 1985, which he said was “funded by Czechoslovakia”.

Labour has hit back in recent days claiming sections of the press in the UK have reported unsubstantiated claims as fact.

Earlier this week, deputy leader Tom Watson wrote for The Independent accusing some newspapers’ proprietors of abusing their power to print “poorly sourced” stories simply because it suits their political agenda.

The issue flared up at Prime Minister’s Questions after Theresa May made a joke at Mr Corbyn’s expense about the alleged meetings. Later her spokesman said politicians had to answer questions from journalists and not “shoot the messenger”"http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-czech-spy-jan-sarkocy-meeting-chesterfield-derbyshire-mp-mother-commons-a8221321.html

Got a link or proof? I thought Corbyn was waiting on the investigation, not trying to stop it.
