The only difference in "law abiding" MAGA and the ones that stormed the capitol are what they were willing to do. It's not like they believe anything different. And before you make the 74 million voters strawman, every Trump voter is not MAGA, when people refer to MAGA they are referring to his core supporters.

You missed my point only to try and tell me that the violence, (the destruction of police vehicles, ignoring curfews, looting, burning of government buildings and privately owned businesses, attempting to go over barricades at the White House, murder, rock throwing, pipe bombing, burning of a landmark church, water bottle and brick throwing, looting, assault on police officers, unlawfully blocking roads, resisting police orders, refusing to obey police orders, was more justified than the violence on 1/6. Again, my point above, is no, it was not. We are not living in the 1860(s). Incivility, violence displayed during riots and protests is not ever to be compared or condoned in the 21st century. There is no difference between either riot or any other riot in the history of this country.

But there is a difference between looting and sedition. I am not surprised that you can’t comprehend the difference. None of it is justified but when you look at the penalties that can be meted out for looting vs seditious insurrection I think it’s safe to say that the crimes aren’t comparable.
