Today is 12 June, 2025.His Visa was apparently for 60 days.He was apparently at the airport on his way out anyway as he had appointments in Brazil today.Citizens of Italy are allowed to stay up to 90 days without a VISA as long as they are here on tourism or business purposes.

Ah, another one who doesn't know about the US/Italy visa agreements. Can you, @Mycroft or @VanceMack explain how 43 days is overstaying a 90 visa whose terms are listed here for Italian citizens please?

I don't know if they can explain it, but I can offer a few circumstances.

A: His passport expired less than 43 days from his initial admission.
B: He previously entered the UNited States and was granted an admission under the Visa Waiver Program or a regular B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa, then departed to contiguous territory for less than 30 days, then had his initial admission revalidated to a date that was less than 43 days after his last admission.
C: He actually had a printed visa in his passport and the admitting officer limited his stay to something that was less than 43 days.
