It Must Really Suck For You People

"I am for legal immigration, so we ought to give amnesty to all to make them legal and then raise the legal limits to immigration to 20,000,000 a year because more is better."

The point here is that those holding the above opinions are not against self-approved entry, they just want to make sure that the millions who wishes to move here can, and they fill out the paperwork needed to provide them jobs, benefits, and protection from deportation... ie a legal status and a "path to citizenship".

For those who are lying to themselves, and/or to us, they keep insisting they are not for open borders, because they actually support open borders with paperwork attached.

Trump doesn’t actually care about illegal immigration. It’s why he did exactly nothing about it last time. He also doesn’t care about gun rights, which is why he had bump stocks “banned” by the ATF and said it’s ok to take people’s guns, and worry about due process later.

I did as well but I always invest heavy after any recession or in this case pandemic. The economy at that point has nowhere to go but up. I was very fortunate my first boss after the election took the time to explain the simple rule of buy low and sell high. It always works. The problem is people get out during the crash and buy back in much too late. The problem with this crash I was unable to work overtime and start buying like crazy after the vaccine come out. The reality of retirement. All I could do is wait for the inevitable rebound of the market. Unfortunately this rebound was followed by inflation to negating every thing I gained back. It is crushing the people living on SS that have no savings.

The entire world shut down. So once it started back up there was a 2 year backlog on things people needed and had put off buying. That had nothing to do with the president. That was going to happen no matter who was in charge. It was the only salvation for the retired who were able to reenter the work place in order to survive the inflation.

Trump is going to fail with prices. They are not going down. It can't be done. Once you spend the money and don't work for 2 years somebody has to pay. Go out and charge up your credit cards for 2 years and not work and see the results. You never get that back.

All we can hope for is he is able to stop this inflation and allow incomes to catch up. That is going to be tough for the poor who will be competing with the millions of cheap labor Biden and Harris brought in to hold down labor rates. Millions of people competing for all those lower paying jobs will not let wages go up.

The real problem with deductions are the only reason for having them is to use them to control what people do. Tax credit are used to get people to do what the government wants. I bought home instead of renting because of the tax credit. Without the tax credit it would have been better for me to rent. If the government wants you to save give a tax credit for IRA. It is basically a bribe the same as all the campaign contributions.
