I think I have this disorder, so anything that might have a positive treatment available OTC is of great interest.

A class of chemicals that can be obtained from inexpensive industrial sources is the terpenes. of which linalool in one. Linaool also moderates anxiety when inhales. And it smells like a quality perfume.

I take a number of drags from my 5ml bottle. If you take a big drag, the odor will stay within your nose for a few minutes.

Linalool is a mild liquid widely used in perfumes. I rate its long-term inhalation cot to be minimal.

Linalool is also in many varieties of Cannabis, one of the volatile products that appear to contribute to its effects. You can also use it in inhalers.

Linalool is (at least some of) what's relaxing in lavender (and weed), so I was hoping the little bottle made you sleepy.

After several tries, sniffing a very little linalool knocks me out for over an hour.

To get technical about this, linalool is not metabolized by the usual oxidation process because it is a tertiary alcohol. So it lasts for a long time & you feel woozy when you are not asleep. Be careful operating a car or other machinery while on it.

I was having some computer issues for a bit.

Of course natural doesn't always mean safe, but I've never heard of greenhouse workers where lavender is grown having mental issues from the linalool they're smelling every day.

Linalool appears to be very safe. I'm not trying to convince you to use it, I just don't think there appears to be any reason not to.

A Dell update for some reason seemed to make it slow as molasses, but suddenly cleared up.
