Huh."As Hitler said, 'I cannot live if one Jew is left.' We can't live here if one 'Islamo-Nazi' remains in Gaza."
Huh.
I wonder what what going through his head when he chose to quote Hitler positively?
That video I shared in the other thread is almost more relevant here somehow too, as part of the bit is the Nazi character being proud of the Jews for becoming Nazis themselves.I suppose he forgot he was on live television and not a closed-door Zehut meeting.
Former Israeli MK quotes Hitler while discussing Gaza war
'As Hitler Said,' Moshe Feiglin Said to Channel 12 News, 'I Can't Live if One Jew Is Left,' We Can't Live Here if One 'Islamo-Nazi' Remains in Gaza'www.haaretz.com
Former Israeli MK Moshe Feiglin quoted Adolf Hitler while commenting on the war in Gaza saying: "We can't live in this land if one Islamo-Nazi remains in Gaza," while speaking to Channel 12 news.
Feiglin continued, saying that Jews "are not guests in our own land, it is entirely ours," adding that he wants to "turn Gaza Hebrew."...
At a pre-election meeting that year [2019], Feiglin said: "Don't talk to me about international law, because there is not such a thing. You know, the minute you use the word 'Palestinian,' you stop saying the truth. Because there is no Palestinian nation, and they know it…once you said that this is Palestine, and once you said there are Palestinian people in this Palestine – once you said that, you created something that does not appear in reality. And now there is no solution."...

I can see why Feiglin quotes Hitler.

I can see why Feiglin quotes Hitler.
In an article in Haaretz, Yossi Sarid quoted Feiglin, in the context of demonstrations against the Oslo accords, as saying, "Hitler was an unparalleled military genius. Nazism promoted Germany from a low to a fantastic physical and ideological status. The ragged, trashy youth body turned into a neat and orderly part of society and Germany received an exemplary regime, a proper justice system and public order. Hitler savored good music. He would paint. This was no bunch of thugs. They merely used thugs and homosexuals." Feiglin clarified his position to the Maariv newspaper that just because he considers Hitler a military genius, this does not mean he admires him.[1]
Zionism's Russo-German nationalist roots are difficult to lampshade. But jumping to Hitlerism is a viral evolution, no?I love how he refers to himself as a 'libertarian zionist.'
Also, this isn't the first time he referred to Hitler in a positive light:
What a piece of trash human being...

He seems like such a fine fellow. The more I read about Feiglin the more I'm convinced he's the stereotypical right 'libertarian' who is actually a fascist that wants to legally smoke weed.
Feiglin criticized lawmaker Aliza Lavie for discussing legislation on sexual violence, protesting that in wartime, no one should be "talking about things like flowers and sexual assault".
Feiglin may say he doesn't admire Hitler, but his words about the murderer belie that claim.I love how he refers to himself as a 'libertarian zionist.'

Someone should remind him that Hitler is dead and the Jews still live. The same fate might befall Feiglin for embracing Nazi ideology. The irony is inhumane."As Hitler said, 'I cannot live if one Jew is left.' We can't live here if one 'Islamo-Nazi' remains in Gaza."
Feiglin may say he doesn't admire Hitler, but his words about the murderer belie that claim.
Yes, Feiglin is a worthless piece of trash whose existence is a waste of scarce resources.
IMHO he was probably trying to be clever in quoting Hitler to bolster his point and make it look like Jews were under oppression, but people have rightly interpreted his remarks as unacceptable and now he looks like a Hitler lover..
He seems like such a fine fellow.
Welp, that settled any doubts about his political opinions in my mind, lol.

This guy is a few beers away from just blurting out the 14 words.
I'd have been more open to the idea it was a bad attempt at being clever, but it wasn't the first time he spoke positively of Hitler.
He's like an alt-right character conceived from an Onion article.
Not really, there are many like him in Israeli govt unfortunately,
there are sadly some on the left who condone their thinking too,
there are others who call everyone who refuses to support Hamas a Nazi too
I mean, Netanyahu and much of the Likud Party are not too far off. But this dude is definitely further along the rightwing spectrum than even them.
I've noticed many of the zionist liberals have become quiet in recent weeks concerning the Israel/Gaza issue...
I don't doubt such people exist (I've been on Twitter) but I cannot imagine they are a significant group.
I'm not sure he is further along the spectrum than them, he isn't actively participating in the deaths (right now) of Palestinian children.
To my mind, the biggest monsters aren't those who post Nazi hate online or who wish death on others online, that I can accept and I don't really give a shite about it. I'm sure as bad or worse things have been posted on here by plenty of others and I too have fought with people posting anti-semitic hatred, even they weren't half as evil as people actively wishing for Gaza to be turned into a parking lot and going out and doing something about it
The people who actually go out and do horrific atrocities and commit the worst deeds known to man are the people who get my attention - and I'm including people who lionise Hamas and go and actively help them in that too
People who say hateful things are a dime a dozen on the internet & other media; they are best ignored
I'm talking ideologically. If he were in charge he would've been more blatant with the genocide.
I do agree we should pay more attention to those with the power.
