Things may have changed, but the last i heard a couple years ago was that the youth of Iran (who make up the majority due to the conflict with Iraq) were not dissatisfied with an islamic state, they just want a moderate form so they can join the western world.
They do indeed dislike the harsh, corrupt system they have now.
But the old guard is actually going to simply die off. Almost an entire generation was killed off fighting Iraq. Theres old men and young men and no one in the middle. When the old bastards die off the time of the ayatollahs will end.
What the heck .... Israel will attack ...or it won't attack .... whenever it thinks is the right time.
Like it needs to ask for permission to everybody ....
When you feel robbed at the pump I do hope you are blaming your government. The government's take on a gallon of gasoline greatly exceeds oil company profits on the same gallon. And government did nothing other than stand in the way at every step of the process.
Not permission per se, but, a coordinated effort or at least let all allies what is going on. Nobody likes to get caught with their pants down...

Cross border incursions are frowned upon these days for most countries. But we got drones in everybodys business, so why get bent if Israel wants to bomd the crap out of Iran that we'll have to get involved in that'll make ANOTHER generation of Iranians hate us for good reason.
Thatll certainly further stability and democracy in the region
Had Israel asked "permission" to strike its enemies through history ..... there would be no Israel State by now
I never said they did. I was taking about providing notice as a form of courtesy to their allies.
I don't think they care about courtesy, only about themsleves.

Technically Israel doesn't need to ask permission Mya but it would be incredibly irresponsible for them to attack Iran without international support/agreeance that a strike is the only viable option and that all diplomatic avenues for a peaceful solution have been completely exhausted.
It would be madness to act without that support. This is not the six day war and it won't be over quickly.
I agree!
I only have been trying to make the point here that had Israel asked permission to the whole world to defend itself in the past.... there would be no Israel now. That's all

I think it's funny how some people equate any action with imperialism.

Iran: We will help 'cut out the cancer of Israel' - Telegraph"From now on, in any place, if any nation or any group confronts the Zionist regime, we will endorse and we will help. We have no fear expressing this," said Khamenei.
He said Israel is a "cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut".
