Is there a right to self-defense?

Yes. All rights come from the government

Rights come from the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights to protect people from............................. the limited powers of the government, private enterprises, and people who think like you do

Not surprising that you would think otherwise.

That was written by the government

Duh

Once passed it became the law of the land to protect people from the government.

So.........your wrong again.
9th amendment says we have rights not written in the constitution

Duh

Why don't you just try to make your point, rather than carry out this baiting game?

Then who do you think should be "enumerating" this right?

You're assuming that I believe there's a right to self-defense.

Endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights.......
The constitution is a constraint on the government not the people.
Yeah but in reality rights come from government

Is there a right to self-defense? Answer 'defense against what?' in your explanation.
Yes there is a right to self defense. "Against what'? Anything that threatens my "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness" -( hyperbole alert ). Providing a specific list runs the danger of omitting one or more important items.

You created a thread posing a stupid question. It's not my fault that you can't keep up.

You post all kinds of stupid comments. I don't.

Last sentence is a cop-out.

I asked you before and you didn't reply, but are you talking about legal or moral rights here?

Because legal rights definitionally come from the government. But moral rights, such as the moral right to defend yourself, do not.

There sure is a bunch of bitching and moaning.

I appreciate the small percentage of people that actually tried to somewhat answer the question.
