is the UK about to recognize Palestine?

what do you expect from Lord Cameron?

There's nothing wrong with recognizing Palestine or Palestinians.
There's something wrong with recognizing HAMAS.
It's the same thing that's wrong with recognizing The Likud Party.

so why would they think about it?

People throw around Balfour at the British so I guess there may be a feeling of responsibility.

Israel would not be happy ….

Nobody in Israel cares what this current govt thinks about what Britain will do. Several of the members are all for cleansing Gaza of the arabs who live there.
"11 government ministers and 15 coalition lawmakers pledged Sunday night to rebuild Jewish Israeli settlements in the heart of the Gaza Strip"

Oh there will be apologists telling us Ben-Gvir has no power but he's a member of the Israeli Govt, speaking on behalf of settlers and the extreme right in Israel.
