There are many red cities.
How many cities of over 1 million population are red?
There are many red cities.
No surprise. Austin has pretty much shit on law enforcement since George Floyd. And it's turned the city to shit as a result.
Wife is going there in August for a competition. Excellent and thanks. The only time it's brown is when the surf is heavy and pulling up the sand, which makes the water look brown. I'm at the beach at least once a week.
Right Wingers ignore this fact, that they represent in the Senate, (Republicans) at least 100 million less people than Democrats.Population density is lower in red areas. Also, you do see them all over the place in red areas. They just don’t talk about it because dems don’t score cheap political points with bullshit like that.
In places like California, you can kinda just live outside as long as you’re near-ish water. In Phoenix, Arizona, I bet a lot of homeless die of heat stroke. In Denver, Colorado, probably a lot die from frostbite/sepsis due to cold. So in places where weather is harsh, I imagine they’re dying more without support.
Also, lots of places just transport their homeless elsewhere. It’s a pretty disgusting practice but that’s never stopped republicans before.

No idea, but 24 of the 100 largest cities are red. Like Ft Worth, Oklahoma City, Fresno. 10 more are non partisan. Certainly the larger a city gets the more it tends to be liberal. And all the problems that comes with that.

There not too many large Cities that are Republican run anyway. Boise and Salt Lake are a few I can think of and they're not that large.
Fort Worth, Tulsa and OKC, but other than that?
I've been in Pittsburgh and St Louis in the last 2 years. Neither had any tent Cities and both are basically Blue Cities.
On this post that addresses a skid row situation (in Portland) and the usual sheep are blaming it on Biden and "his failed leadership", "sancturary cities" "libtards". The usual intelligent stuff.
Where I pointed out you don't see as much of it in Red Places, because they basically made it a crime to be homeless when that may be your only actual "crime", rents are more affordable in those places because jobs usually don't pay as much and they punish those that do that by just putting them in jail or giving them 1 way bus tickets out of town.
Am I right?
The homeless factor has had a huge impact. No surprise. Austin has pretty much shit on law enforcement since George Floyd. And it's turned the city to shit as a result.
Whats crazy is CA accounts for 30% of homeless. They would love to have only 1400 homeless people.
You think cops prevent homeless people? No surprise. Austin has pretty much shit on law enforcement since George Floyd. And it's turned the city to shit as a result.
Not really. On this post that addresses a skid row situation (in Portland) and the usual sheep are blaming it on Biden and "his failed leadership", "sancturary cities" "libtards". The usual intelligent stuff.

All fine until the last part. Look it up. Red State Governors are shipping them pretty much by force to Cities in Blue StatesNot really.
Let's start by distinguishing between visibility and population. Obviously, many people think that more visible homeless people means there are more homeless -- but that's not the case. DC for example has a declining homeless population, but when some people camped out in a public park, it became more visible, and thus it got more attention.
Next, a substantial percentage -- perhaps half or more -- homeless people live in their cars, and that's harder to do in dense cities like NYC, SF or Chicago than in cities such as Houston or Miami. It's a lot easier to live in your car without people noticing in most "Red" areas (e.g. rural areas, low-density cities).
Further, most of homeless people stay local. They aren't getting chased out of Mississippi and into Los Angeles.

What a landmark new study on homelessness tells us
How homeless people in California lost their homes, and how they cope.www.vox.com
Uh... No, they aren't. They've made a big show of sending some asylum seekers and migrants to other states. Not unhoused people. All fine until the last part. Look it up. Red State Governors are shipping them pretty much by force to Cities in Blue States
But Texas and Florida with more combined population than California have far less than half the homeless than California. They have just over 1/2 the homeless population of New York. It's the environment created by radical Leftist Democrats that encourages homelessness as a lifestyle. Not necessarily true.
Texas and Florida are #3 and #4 in the US for the number of homeless people.

Homeless Population by State 2023 - Wisevoter
Homelessness continues to be a persistent and widespread issue in every state in America. California has the largest homeless population with 161,548 people, followed by New York with 91,271. Florida and Texas have 27,487 and 27,229 homeless people respectively. On the other hand, North Dakota...wisevoter.com

90% of California's homeless population is local. And that was from a survey that ended in November 2022.

I continually hate calling my state a red state DXWrong again, not surprised.
I've heard through other Bus Drivers in a Blue City that homeless people were sent here from Red States like Ohio. They had to choose between that or going to jail.

Um, northern Florida is red...they got a crap ton of homeless there....and don't try to tell me they don't...I lived in Florida long enough to know better. One of the most liberal parts of the country. We have some in Florida, in the blue cities, as well. Its not a state problem.
