You are clueless if you think outside forces don't also shape the perspective of your children.
Only what’s allowed.
Knowledge is always power.
Obviously you have no concept of educating kids.
Hinging your post on such a lame concept is hilarious.

fat people use twice as much health care as those growing old, smoking or heavy drinking

Every civilization starts to accept decadence as it approaches its end.
well that's clearly not true. Most civilizations do not meet their end the same way Rome did. The end of most civilizations happens when someone like the Romans shows up. The Greeks were just as decadent under Alexander as they were afterwords.

I desire to see as few fat people in my view shed as possible.

Love to all of the beautiful people!

The United States and other developed countries have obesity rates that are increasing at an alarming speed. Is fat acceptance teaching young people that it's okay to not control your eating habits? Is it teaching young people that it's okay to be undisciplined? We teach young people that it's bad to smoke because it's unhealthy and can hurt them. Is the same not true of obesity?

In my view respecting and loving yourself means taking care of your body and keeping it healthy. It means having disciplined behavior.

And who demonstrates the opposite of disciplined behavior?

One can only wonder what you look like...

The "fat positive" movement is one of many symptoms of a decaying society.

There is no "fat positive" movement... there is a fat acceptance movement that teaches people to be accepting of fat people and to not condemn them... it has nothing to do with promoting fatness or encourage bad eating habits... for ****s sake... your posts are so ****ing stupid.

"My Curves are sooooooo beautiful!"

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the new social movement that is encouraging people to be content with obesity. It tells people they don't need to change.

Literally nobody is encouraging people to be content with obesity... there is a movement telling others to not condemn obese people though... as well as to not be too hard on yourself for being overweight. Good God Man... stop being so judgmental.

Are you insecure about something?

No, I want as high a quality view shed as possible....I have no interest in seeing more slobs than I already do.....could we please work in the other direction?

The fat acceptance movement tells people they don't need to change and encourages them to be happy with their bodies. People should not be happy with obesity.

False.

I already linked a video about it. There are countless more and countless echo chambers of fat people celebrating their obesity and condemning a culture that encourages them to be healthy. They are also often in denial about the health implications.

Are y'all capable of not turning everything into a "But Trump!" conversation?

Well, for one thing, it's true, and for another, because it's about trump, it's fun!

You can only dream of getting to his age with that stamina....

Trump is in the top .6% when it comes to that.

I don't think so but I know he's at the top 1% as bloated, fat, and insane.

Just look at all the "stamina" demonstrated below - so sad :(

Are you upset that more people didn't show up at that bloated bastard's super-spreader events?

Nobody is saying it is OK to be fat as a goal... they are saying that they are accepting who they are. Some people are naturally fat and they are tired of being ridiculed about it. You are missing the point completely.

True...

Obesity is not natural.

In some it is...

People who point at extremely rare issues that make it difficult to lose weight are just making excuses and misdirecting.

My argument is not that there are a lot of lazy people that eat poorly and do not exercise.

I am assuming the topic refers to the non-disabled. There is nothing more cruel then seeing a high and mighty health idiot berate a women in a wheelchair whose spine was crushed in a car accident because she is obese. You people are hideously disgusting and are a negative drag on society.

Much ado about nothing.
Parents are the primary learning source for their kids, not YouTube.
Further proof that you are clueless about raising kids.

I would challenge this premise, as many children are brought up in single-parent households where the parent is unable to dedicate the time to teach and raise their children. When children aren't receiving the training from their parents, they will seek other options including friends, internet channels and learning the hard way.
