The Communist Party USA, officially the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA),[8] is a communist party in the United States established in 1919 after a split in the Socialist Party of America following the Russian Revolution.[9][10]

What do they believe? What do they stand for? What do they want to do to or for America? Are their ideas a threat to American liberties or prosperity?

No. The CPUSA is not a threat to the USA. It has maybe 20,000 members.

Are you afraid of them hiding under your bed or in your closet too?

I think the Republican Party is a much bigger threat to America than the Communists.

Is that right? Do you know what the CPUSA stands for? What do they want? Are their ideas crazy? Are they not involved in politics?

What power do they actually have at this point?

Call me when they’ve killed even a third of the people far right terrorists like the KKK have.

Until then, the idea of them being a “threat” is pretty damn funny.

No they aren’t a threat. Stop jumping at shadows like a scared little boy.

You say they are not a threat. What do they stand for? What do they want to do? Are their ideas bat crazy?

IS the NAMBLA org a national security threat? What do they stand for? WHO cares what they stand for, they are NOT a national security threat.

Yes. Yes. Not entirely sure. Might be. And maybe a very tiny amount.

But when you consider the size of the Republican Party and see what they and their Dear Leader are doing to this country now it is no contest.

Republicans are the real threat.

truggle for the unity of the working class, against all forms of national oppression, national chauvinism, discrimination and segregation, against all racist ideologies and practices, [...] against all manifestations of male supremacy and discrimination against women, [...] against homophobia and all manifestations of discrimination against gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people.

Among the points in the party's "Immediate Program" are a $15/hour minimum wage for all workers, national universal health care and opposition to privatization of Social Security. Economic measures such as increased taxes on "the rich and corporations", "strong regulation" of the financial industry, "regulation and public ownership of utilities" and increased federal aid to cities and states; opposition to the Iraq War and other military interventions; opposition to free trade treaties such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA); nuclear disarmament and a reduced military budget; various civil rights provisions; campaign finance reform including public financing of campaigns; and election law reform, including instant runoff voting.[32]

The bastards, they actually care about someone other than themselves. That must be unamerican.

Less of a threat than the democratic party for sure.

Are they only a danger if they commit mass murder? Apart from the five commies the KKK killed in 1979 in Greensboro, how many people have the KKK killed in your lifetime? Surely nothing compared to those gunned down by Black Lives Matter cultists.

Would an organization out to destroy capitalism in the US be a national security threat?

By definition, any group which has conducted hundreds of terrorist attacks, killing vats numbers of innocent people, is far more of a threat than a group that has not.

Your desperate attempt to downplay the atrocities of an actual terrorist group in favor of hysterically babbling about “BLM” is rather telling.

No it would not if that is what the people want

Republicans are the real threat.

How are republicans a threat? Are republicans out to destroy freedom of religion in the US? Are republicans out to disband the police and shut down the jails?

What I would say on the OPs question won't be met with much approval. But I don't see the overt threat of Communist ideology here in America as much as a threat to the culture as the slow infiltraion by newer Chinese immigrants coming to the country and bringing with them their pre formed mental indoctrination on culture which are not overtly communist, but are changing the politcal dynamic.

Used to be immigrants coming to the U.S. escaping from communists regimes, in Eastern Europe, Cuba, South Korea, South Vietnam, all tended to come here seeing America as a beacon of political hope. But my observation of the many newer Chinese immigrants today is that many are still complimentary of the current Chinese regime which for many allowed them to get rich in the process. They don't seem to think or talk like people who escaped from something.

Can ideas be a threat to liberty?

What is liberty without the freedom to have ideas?

Is the notion to trash statues of Jesus and the Virgin Mary a harmless idea? Are movements to disband the police harmless ideas?
