When racial bigotry is expressed by a member of the majority power it results in disadvantage to minorities as a group in perpetuating privilege. When racial bigotry is expressed by a minority it does not result in disadvantage of the majority as a group. Racial bigotry by the majority creates systemic disadvantage. Racial bigotry by a minority does not create systemic disadvantage. The difference between racial bigotry (an individual act) and racism (a social construct) is systemic disadvantage.
How important is personal accountability to you? That's a subject that is largely ignored when discussing racism whether systematic or not.
There is a leech mentality that is very prevalent in the poor community (whether white or black)
Do you guys think of parenting? How dumbed down other society is? When you have kids having kids, how big of a disadvantage is that child immediately born into?
Go look up the definition of Murder. Then look at how many from the black community cried murder in the case of Garner, Sterling, or one it many others.
When the black community is championing these causes instead of one's based in reality, how much does that hurt or help their cause?
When you have to cry "you're a racist" because you have a different view when it comes to race, how intelligent do you feel they are?
Personal accountability, education, parenting, and other factors are in play other than "they are back and oppressed and are screwed by whitey" You have a lot of peope out there like me who don't have a racist bone in their body, but look at a group of people and say "Wtf is wrong with you"
Theres a lot of things that goes into it and it'll never be fixed unless you address the entire situation. Blaming whitey will only get you so far because despite what you see online, there are still a lot of intelligent people who weigh issues on an individual basis and draw conclusions.
I've always said that this needs to be addressed on a more human level. Yes, you can give them handouts. You can give them food. But Ffs, fix our schools that are pumping out idiots instead of intellectuals. We're at the point to where parenting classes would actually be a good idea now.
Less sympathy. More empathy. You're never going to fix racism by screaming whitey did it which is how some approach the discussion.
