Is Dr. Ben Carson electable?

How exactly have they silenced you? Which tools have they used?

Interesting post. In what universe are you a 'centrist'? I'm not sure a Centrist would identify all media not Fox as 'left-leaning'. A Far Right conservative, on the other hand, would.
At Columbia university... this study was done showing that there is a left wing bias in mediahttp://http://web.archive.org/web/20061128014117/http://www.polisci.ucla.edu/faculty/groseclose/Media.Bias.pdf
That all other news outlets express a liberal bias other than Fox News.

liberal bias among educators is even easier to find and demonstrate.
Survey shocker: Liberal profs admit they'd discriminate against conservatives in hiring, advancement - Washington Times

Is there a “liberal bias” in academia? - Salon.com

Yes, Liberals Rule the Ivory Tower

... I could go on all day

He's going to do whatever he wants to do, but he's not going to do it from the White House.

You are probably correct. As was stated before Obama's second election, the problem is not the guy in office but a public that will put him there. Americans, or at least the majority of them, will expend a substantial amount of energy complaining about what is wrong with government, but when it comes down to it lack the sense and ambition to change it.

Fox News has a big enough right-wing bias to balance it out.

You could go on from now until the end of time and it wouldn't change reality even a little bit.

That's a fair opinion , but one that might be skewed by partisanship... I don't claim to know

How dare he compare the founding fathers with Isis in one speech? There is no comparison, the American patriots fought for freedom, liberty and justice. And that cannot be said about the terrorists of Isis. The founding fathers did not behead English soldiers to terrorize the English public.

Again, that is bat **** crazy talk IMHO.

Who cares? You said the only media you think isn't left wing is the mouthpiece of the RNC, Fox News. And then you have the balls to call yourself a centrist. Well, whatever floats your boat.

No, but they terrorized the hell out of those colonists who wanted to be loyal to the Crown. And terrorized is not too strong a word. It's the part of American history that never gets covered in junior high school textbooks.

But they were not terrorists who fought for the end of freedom like Isis is, for the end of democracy, human rights and every other civil right that people can ever have. Because their caliphate is the absolute opposite of the american founders wanted to achieve.

Well... I gave proof to the contrary...
I think Fox News has a Right wing bias.... I think the media as a whole has a Left wing bias.... and the studies I referenced from a very respectable source show my conclusion correct.

and when did I call myself a centrist?

I like Dr Carson and believe he would kick Hillary's butt in a general election. I am just not sure he could win the GOP nomination. What are your thoughts?

My thought is that the American electorate is so gullible they elected a novelty twice. I like Dr. Carson as well but I don't know if his background is suitable for a transition into the Presidency. If he had become a governor first and run a state successfully, I'd be all in.

Wanna bet?

There are so many more important issues then gay rights which only affects about 1% of the population....You lefties better get your priorities straight.

You're the guy whose priorities are out of whack-you talk about gay rights way more than 1 % of the time.
