Will Donald Trump prove to be the chosen one? Yes or no
Will Donald Trump prove to be the chosen one? Yes or no
My way-out-on-a-limb prediction is: he will do well this first debate due to his grandiose emphatic style where he fires-off GOP resonate ideas in general terms, and in terms of public perception reflected in his (GOP, at least) poll ratings he'll hold his own. He will then do less well in the following debates where he'll have to back-up his ideas with substance.
But this is just a gut-feeling WAG on my part!
Is Donald Trump the master debator?

Who knows what Trump will say during the debates, or any other time? One thing for sure, it's bound to be entertaining. Will Donald Trump prove to be the chosen one? Yes or no
I suppose that depends upon one's POV, but point taken.Obama has still largely failed to back-up his ideas with substance and he won two terms as POTUS.![]()
Gee - another liberal "Pump the Trump" thread. Has any conservative/Republican DP member started a Trump thread?
Fear in the land of the ice queen must be massive considering the left's desperation to see Trump lead the Republicans.
Not that I can speak for "the left," but I doubt there's any desperation over the issue. It's either Snow Trump or one of the seven dwarfs; doesn't really matter.
Don't worry, with your rhetoric you speak for the left very well.

I just report on what I observe. If it happens to coincide with what the left is saying...that doesn't bode well for the right, does it?
To be honest, I don't see me voting for Trump or Hillary but if that was my two choices I would vote Trump.
Since The Donald chickened out of the first debate with a really lame excuse -- as if there is anything as important possible now -- it is likely that he knows he will get whipped. And he would.
The "first debate"??
Did I miss a debate?
Most commentators on the tv news are also saying this, except they like Hillary.
If only the GOP goes for The Donald, the DEM's certainly won't of course, and the Independents again will need to decide, as usual.
Again it will all depend on the swing states.
Could be a repeat of 2012 and 2008.
Hillary is competent, no doubt. She just rubs people wrong -- like lipstick on a pig unfortunately. She has been losing a lot of weight lately and this makes her look younger. She has been toning down her mean girl style too.
All bets are off if The Donald manages to grab the top spot on the GOP ticket.
As much as I love Jeb, I would never ever on this Earth vote for The Donald.
It's coming up, and The Donald has already chickened out in advance. That's what you missed.
