Is Bill a racist? (1 Viewer)

silly me I thought you said dixiecrats like Al Gores daddy became republicans...

here's a quick video to show you all of the dixiecrats that became republicans

Because people from that generation have a real impact on the dems of today

Dixiecrats, look it up. Instead of trying to play partisan games by claiming that today's democrats are all racist because of actions of the dixiecrats just reeks of a lack of historical knowledge.

It's just silly partisan games and I expect better from someone like you.

the dixiecrats were the days of old,but still exist openly among some democrats in the south.

im pointing out the progressive lkeader lbj who was blatantly racist, yet seen as a progressive hero, and the democrats who followed never ditched the old dixiecrat roots.just look at byrd, who was defended, look at ried who called obama a light skinned negro with no negro dialect unless he wanted it,look at ted kennedy who said a few years ago obama would have only gotten us coffee.

their racism has never died, they simply have just denied it and accused everyone else of being racist.a few months back i even did a long search of racist quotes between modern democrats post southern strategy and republicans post souther strategy, and democrats beat them on racism 8 to 1.

ill use the most blatant and offensive quote from the modern progressive era(ill have those niggers voting democrat for the next 200 years!)guess who that was,the same guy who pushed the civil rights bill, the same progressive who said in 57 "These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don't move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there'll be no way of stopping them, we'll lose the filibuster and there'll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It'll be Reconstruction all over again." --Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D., Texas), 1957

Because people from that generation have a real impact on the dems of today

I dunno... Al Gores Father who was a big Dixiecrat senator might have had an impact on him...

but I love how you say "The dixiecrats became republicans, and that small minority changed the whole of the party"

and yet when confronted with the truth if the matter your response is to roll your eyes and say what I quoted above...

So what keeps me from saying the exact same thing?

While southern Dems were enslaving ... my family fought for freedom for all men... period. I see all people as individuals, and yet I am the racist because I believe in individual responsibility.

Because people from that generation have a real impact on the dems of today

And Robert "Sheets" Byrd a Kleagle and Exhaulted Cyclops of the KKK was called the "Conscience of the Senate"

So, yeah... they had an impact on the people today

None is so blind as those who WILL not see....

Because no one from the south would be caught dead as a member of the Republican party, the party of Lincoln. To say that all dems today are racist because of racist comments from the past is like claiming all southerners are racist because of comments from people in the south. It's ridiculous, reeks of a lack of critical thinking, and nothing more than you wanting to have a "gotcha" moment.

if he is racist , me tooo

Never said that so.....

Never said that so.....

That is the basic idea behind the "Dixiecrats became republicans... so now the republicans are the racists"

Yep, never said that.

You can play your silly games, but I'm not participating.

I will have to keep this on file... this is the standard arguement for how "The republicans are all racist... look at how many southern sates vote for them... and we all know how racist the south is.

im talking about lyndon b johnson, the start of the CURRENT progressive age.he was not only a dixie crat but ran against goldwater accusing him of being a kkk member.he also advocated his great society and civil rights yety admitted both of them were to maintain white supremecy.

yet you use the pre lbj era dixiecrats to argue against lbj era and after progressives.there are plenty of quotes of modern democrats being blatantly racist, their racism never stopped,it just went in the closet during the lbj era.

"You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian Accent." -Senator Joe Biden

Mahatma Gandhi "ran a gas station down in Saint Louis."

-Senator Hillary Clinton

Some junior high n*gger kicked Steve's ass while he was trying to help his brothers out; junior high or sophomore in high school. Whatever it was, Steve had the n*gger down. However it was, it was Steve's fault. He had the n*gger down, he let him up. The n*gger blindsided him."

"You'd find these potentates from down in Africa, you know, rather than eating each other, they'd just come up and get a good square meal in Geneva." -- Fritz Hollings (D, S.C.)

"Is you their black-haired answer-mammy who be smart? Does they like how you shine their shoes, Condoleezza? Or the way you wash and park the whitey's cars?"

"You f*cking Jew b@stard." -- Hillary Clinton to political operative Paul Fray. This was revealed in "State of a Union: Inside the Complex Marriage of Bill and Hillary Clinton" and has been verified by Paul Fray and three witnesses.

"The Jews don't like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that's a good name. Hitler was a very great man. He rose Germany up from the ashes." -- Louis Farrakhan (1984) who campaigned for congresswoman Cynthia McKinney in 2002

"Now that nation called Israel, never has had any peace in forty years and she will never have any peace because there can never be any peace structured on injustice, thievery, lying and deceit and using the name of God to shield your dirty religion under his holy and righteous name." -- Louis Farrakhan who campaigned for congresswoman Cynthia McKinney in 2002, 1984

yep sure seems to me like a party thats not racist or anti semite in any way:roll:

Yep, never said that.

You can play your silly games, but I'm not participating.

You are the one who brought up the Dixiecrats... YOU ... Yes you did bring that up... and it is a provable LIE...

Once you were caught in it, you say that you didnt say this...

The Dixiecrats lost a few to the republican party Like Strom Thermond, but the vast majority stayed democrat, once I showed you this, and even point out that Al Gores father was a dixiecrat who stayed in the Party you deny your words.

So I'm a secret racist, awesome

So I'm a secret racist, awesome

would not say that.when i speak of democrats and progressives i speak more of politicians, not voters.

if all the voters had been closet racists, lbj's strategy never would have worked.

And your wrong so there you go.

So I'm a secret racist, awesome

Nope, Like I said I see individuals, not groups... I would never paint anyone with the racist brush unless their actions led me to question their heart.

I have no reason to believe this of you. My question to you is then WHY do so many on your side believe that the party of Lincoln, A party that fought for and PASSED the CRA. The party that fought segregation, and Jim Crow, and that has fought for individual liberty is the party that is racist?

Because we don't believe that someone should be treated differently based on the color of thewir skin?

That seems counterintuitive.

Because claiming that a majority of dems are racist is silly.

As is claiming the entire republican party, (which I don't know if you personally do it ... but it is a major theme for the left) is equally silly...

Because it is easier to engage in smears than in honest debate. Plus democrats cant demonstrate to blacks that their policies have improved their lot in the last half century, so they have to rally them to the polling booth with fears of republican racism.

Because claiming that a majority of dems are racist is silly.

Actually, it's not too long a leap, Your Star. What party has gone out of its way to cause a racial divide in this country by accusing others of racism? What party thinks their constituents are too stupid to get photo I.D.'s? Which party resists identifying fraud in our entitlement programs? I'll give you a hint: It's not Republicans.

It's not the democrats either.

Because claiming that a majority of dems are racist is silly.

but i speak of the politicians not the voters.

was bill clinton not the best conservative ever minus his anti gun stance???he deregulated the market more than reagan and bush combines,he has the repeal of glass steagal and the enactment of the nafta, and lets not forget the commodity futured modernization act, which by itself was the number one cause of the economy and 1000 glass steagal repeals wouldnt do the damage that bill did,and it was pushed by bill clinton and rubin.

now lets look at the conservative hero reagan,he is considered liberalby most standars, clinton was 300% to the right of him on everything but gun control.now lets look at bush, same he had 2 wars, but was overall left wing on hispolicies.bush senior wasmore conservative than both but did little during his presidency.now lets look at obama, right of bush and reagan, yet hes a liberal hero for expanding policies they hate.

am i the only one noticing since the southern strategy every democrat has been conservative and every republican has been liber with the exception of carter, which no one really care about???

Oh...just the modern democrats?

View attachment 67133661

Democrats in the 1800's were pretty damn racist as well.

"as well" huh?

Please, explain to us why the african american community votes overwhelmingly Democratic instead of Republican if it's the Dems that are racists against them? This ought to be interesting.

Stop it.. it isnt like the Democrats formed the KKK, and the Jim Crow Laws, and Segregation, and just about every other racist thing in our past ...

oh, wait... nevermind.

Nothing like a right-winger playing the race card to make a thriving right wing "we're a victim" pity thread that allows them to forget history and the facts therein.
