Is it flawed in any way?

Yes?

No?

It's got people in it, so yes.

But I know what you're getting at.

We are a country of narcissists.

Well America isnt very flawed its a beautiful landscape with nearly any kind of climate and experience available. What your really talking about is Americans

When people talk negatively about America it seems both sides insult certain Americans.Thomas Jefferson from everything ive read was not the American the Far right would like him to be he was a deist.Ive always seen America Through Jefferson's eyes the ideas such as separation of church and state.

I really wanted to support McCain in this election and i have but he just isnt the man he was.

In many ways America is young, selfish, and spoiled. But for all that we're also very good. Surprisingly so, in my opinion.

Is the sky purple?

In CA, it gets a little purple about 6-7pm everyday, depending on season though. Right before that though, it's orange and yellowish.

I hear it gets green up in Alaska during winter.

Of course it's flawed. I could list all the ways that it's flawed, but the list would be too ****ing long.

That being said, America is a much better place than it was 50 Years ago, and THAT was better than 100 years ago.

America has had some setbacks, but we have improved, both materially and morally. Consider:

1. Slavery is gone. Jim Crow is gone. Racism still exists, but it shrinks a little every decade.

2. No more 12 hour days, and 6 day weeks. We're sliding on this, though.

3. We hardly ever use our military as hired muscle for corporation.

...

...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, I was totally kidding about #3. But no country is perfect, right?

Of course it's flawed. We create more trash than any other country in the world. We piss away natural resources like draft beer at a frat party. It's still the best country in the world, but that's kind of like being the hottest Denny's waitress.

I once ****ed the hottest Denny's waitress. It was right after her hip replacement surgery so I had to be gentle.

Once again, Tucker wins the thread.

What a way NOT to answer a question lol lol .

No?

Of course, but to say so is Anti-American.

The problem is there's a special brand of fascism on the right that says, when you so much as question, let alone disparage, a Republican President, you must be insulting America. For some reason the same is not true when you're a Republican talking about a Democratic President. You'll see what I mean in a few months. ;)
