Rigged and the leaders are too arrogant for their own good. This time, it's going to cost them.

Other: Irrelevant.
How in the hell are you going to really say its "Irrelevant"?
The Iranian election are very relevant to current foreign policy and national security right now! The Iranioans are pretty much choosing wether they get invaded (because we know in the election of 2012 thats going to be the main debate,) or they become a semi-peaceful semi-invaded nation.
And I think that plays a great importance in the lives of Americans.
The so called "reformist" candidate Mousavi is partially responsible for the slaughter of more than 30,000 political dissidents under his Prime Ministry in the late 80s and he was part of a board which granted the Supreme Leader exponentially more authority and power.
Please, enlighten me.
Q: You don’t believe some Iranians could vote for the more moderate candidate at least to avoid a worst-case scenario?
Kaveh Mohseni - No, I don’t. Because Mousavi is not a moderate. When he was Prime Minister, 30,000 political prisoners were executed in only three months in the summer of 1988 and buried in a mass grave on the site of Khavaran. Many Iranians may be young but they have parents. No one can believe Mousavi is a moderate. They all have blood on their hands.
Furthermore he ruined the Iranian economy when he was in power by nationalizing many companies.

I thought it was the Ayatollah that order those executions?

It was under his Prime Ministry he was part of the regime responsible for this democide and thus shares culpability.
We've had presidents that were part of a group of political leaders under which people were enslaved and tortured.
Too much?
