But you stated New Yorkers have historically performed poorly in national elections. That isn't true. 5 presidents were from NY (6 if you count Trump twice) that's more than any state save Ohio and Virginia.

That's not my argument, and nowhere did I write that. HC ran against Trump. Clinton got nearly 5 million fewer votes overall than Obama, who ran against two different white candidates. Does that mean the electorate prefers a black man over a white woman? I think the idea of using race or gender as an excuse is often too convenient.

The US is "attacked" and the Dow went up. The smart money knows this little hiccup from Iran is capitulation.
