I know this is a small poll but it's consistent with most polling as we come down the stretch. I find it interesting that the responders overwhelming take Trump over DeSantis but want Dems in office. Where's the red wave we keep hearing about? It's pretty obvious that several of his Trumpian candidates are going to lose, big names like Walker, Oz, Palin and Masters. If the red wave fails can we place the blame on Trump and his horrible endorsements made from emotions and hate?

I don't follow polls much these days.

I've learned not to trust them.

Too many polls oversample, are often push-polls asking leading questions, and in the case of the one's in the OP are all "B" rated and most lean Democrat.

We also know most Democrats live in a number of large population cities in certain States. Those won't change much. It is the other States where there are more Independents and Republicans where the numbers may change.

So I prefer to vote and await the actual outcome.

Yes. If you live in Wyoming, your vote counts almost twice as much as if you live in CA or NY.

The District of Columbia has a bigger population than all Wyoming, and they get no representation in congress at all.

This is really messed up and makes no sense anymore in an increasingly urban nation. Basically you have a handful of farmers living in the middle of nowhere dictating policy to the rest of the nation.

True, but the quality of these farmers' vote is generally better than city folks. These farmers own their land and "have a dog in the fight".

Many City dwellers are renters and don't own any property. So why do we allow people - that don't own property - to vote to raise property taxes on those of us who DO?

This never made any sense to me.

I agree with the OP that the so called "red wave" is a pink ripple.

Only farmers should vote? Do you think that makes sense to us?

That's just nuts. Those renters are paying all the property tax the owner wants to complain about. It's the owners who are actually getting over.

The bigger question is how many votes are the corrupt AF cons going to try to throw out?

It depends on how motivated people are to vote.

Of course not. . . . I don't own a farm.

But I DO own property. A few different ones, in fact.

Why in the world should people who own zero property be allowed to vote to raise (Property) taxes on those of us who do?

It makes no sense.

Those people who don't own property, called renters, pay property taxes. When they pay their rent. You really don't think that the owners don't include that expense in the rent, do you?

Should they also be white and male?

Why should people whose businesses can be traded for power be allowed to vote? Why should 25 year olds be allowed to vote? Why should anyone without a college education be allowed to vote?

Voting is a constitutional right.

WUT?

WUT? Nobody said anything about education. (?)
Voting is a constitutional right.
True.

It just doesn't make sense to have one group of people (who pay ZERO taxes) vote to raise taxes on another group of people who DO pay taxes.

It's complete nonsense.
