Some ex-intelligence officials were actively being paid by the CIA on a contract basis when they signed the letter that falsely claimed Hunter Biden's laptop was 'Russian disinformation.'

Morell was the one who organized the letter after a call from now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken. He said he did it to give Biden a 'talking point' in the lead-up to the 2020 election when Trump attacked him for the laptop that was later verified to be his son's.

high-ranking CIA officials were made aware of the letter before its publishing and some raised concerns about the political nature of the letter.

'The signatories’ decision to leverage their former intelligence community titles to promote a narrative about foreign election interference improperly embroiled the [CIA] in domestic politics,' the report states saying it.. 'underscores the potential dangers of a politicized intelligence community.'

Is the Daily Mail known for leaning one way or the other with regard to politics? I don't jump on links from here most of the time because I have to use the Firefox browser for here, now, and tracking is a big deal with some browsers; so I will go after that link with another browser later.

BUT I am not familiar with what the editors of that media entity like with regard to politics; left or right? Or neither?

EDIT: By the way, I wouldn't be overly surprised if some folks in the intelligence community were playing funny games like outlined in your post. That's been going on for ages. Nothing new there. And certainly not just our nation.

What's it got to do with the DOJ? CIA isn't under the DOJ, not is Secretary of State, who heads the Department of State.

It's been the left using Hunter's dick pics and drug use to undermine the truth of the emails within the laptop. The emails testify to the corrupt Biden family practices, selling out the USA. Nobody gives a damn about those stupid pics......it's the host of emails, but nice detraction, lol.
 
It's been well known the CIA has been involved in elections of other countries, which in itself is criminal, but now they have become involved into our elections......this is very serious, can't be ignored, and heads must roll.

Thats really not the issue here. The issue is that 51 current and former government officials got together to lie to the American public to influence an election. That should bother you but since it hurt trump, youre ok with it.
 
Even after all of the time the House Committee spent trying to make that connection, they failed outside of their nebulous "the Big Guy" must be Biden. What this has really been about is the sour grapes the "October surprise" didn't land as intended, and mostly because news organizations themselves weren't convinced of the data's integrity.

Were you this upset when the FBI reopened the Hillary Clinton investigation with similarly impeccable timing, and in line with the narrative of her political opponent? One could certainly go to town with all sorts of connect-the-dots scenarios.

There concern was for the information being disseminated from the copy of the hard drive obtained by Rudy. At no time did they make any claim that the laptop itself or the original drive was fake. Of course they knew the laptop was real ...they had it and the original drive! The number of people who don't seem to know the difference between a laptop and a copy of it's hard drive is astounding!

Given files were added to the copy of the hard drive AFTER it was in the possession of the FBI...I'm not so sure they did.
 
And this is how the democrats want to run our country. This is free choice by an informed public. It's manipulation with help of a corrupt left wind media, a corrupt leftist leaning FBI, CIA, DOJ that are determined to hold onto power and go charging into progressive lala land at the risk of destroying the USA. They don't care because they want the power and as long as they have it they will do anything to keep it. That's an exercise for you, not for me, because I already know what they said and there's no way it could be a lie. If that doesn't make sense to you, then do your homework and learn something.
 
Until you admit Trump Russian Collusion was a clear act by democrats to interfere in a free election and was manufactured in an attempt to win the election and then used to try to remove a President you can't see the the truth about what's happening.
