No. Musk donated $3,500 to the Trump campaign - the maximum individual donation allowed by law. A PAC spent hundreds of millions of dollars on the Trump campaign using his money.

I’d be very surprised if no one in Canada funnels more than the individual limit in some form or fashion.
 
Well they can do as they like with the accounts. But this is also why you shouldn't turn to social media for news and such.

No. I am saying the wealth needs to be spread around and not held mostly by a few hundred people who sit on it like vast dragon hordes. Most of the billionaires need their assets sold off so that they can be bought up at bargain basement prices by the middle class.

I am a bankruptcy lawyer by trade, CLAX. The government already has broad power when it comes to seizing and liquidating property and assets.

The last candidate in Canada that violated our campaign laws was turfed by the Liberals.

The laws are strictly enforced. That is normal for most countries. The fact that the US political system is so corrupted is an anomaly, not the norm in the rest of the developed world.

Without the opportunity to become billionaires you stifle innovation and competitiveness. The very things that make Democratic free markets the greatest place for opportunities in the world.

If you're butthurt some billionaire lives a lifestyle you can't imagine, it's not their problem. It's yours.
