Incredible! Fox 'news' Labels Foley As Dem During O'reilly Factor! (1 Viewer)

Yup, but it wasnt O'Reilly who put the graphics up. It was FOX News itself.

Faux News, fairly unbalanced. They have daily "Freudian slips".

As we watch the GOP scramble at Damage Control as the upcoming elections approach is it any surprise that The Republican News Channel, aka, FOXNews is doing the same?

The depths of misinformation and outright lies these people will sink to is appalling. But it is no surprise. America has come to expect this from them, albeit, a little too late.

LOL! Classic.

I'd bet there is a whole group at Fox that sets up what is scrolled underneath the main story to give subliminal misinformation.

while this is clearly wrong......they have a very long way to go to catch up to the crap weve been fed for decades from walter cronkite, dan rather, and all the other leftist news outlets.

Damn the "liberal" media, shameless bastards. The AP is in on it too. :damn

Oh my God. At what point do people stop saying "Well, the other party does it too!" and start saying "You know what. My party screwed up this time and it's time they fessed up." How about actually looking for someone to do what's right rather then trying to make sure your "team" wins.

The link in the original post did not work. But if all this hubub is because of a typo in a graphic, it's a pretty lame argument.

Yea, I heard that Dan Rather told him to stick his head in a bucket of horse manure, so he did it. :rofl

Newscaster: An actor/actress who reads the teleprompter and looks sincere and serious during the dissemination of propaganda; synonyms: fraud, CNN, flake, FOX.

I'm sure it was just an honest mistake. heh heh

Yea, LOL. AP did it too, although they have now printed a retraction. In addition, the Republican freepers are attempting to push "Foley-D" as high up on Google as they can.

This is just as funny as when Chris Wallace (in about 10 interviews on Faux) claimed that Clinton lost his temper and "attacked" him. Right-wing deception at its finest.

Ahhh the "Fair and Balanced" network strikes again. lol lol lol

Unbelievable.

It's also important to note that the show is not live - it's pretaped several hours in advance.

There was also no retraction or admission of the mistake.

Rebroadcasts of the show did not have a corrected version of the graphic - just no graphic at all.

Maybe the best Faux can hope for is to tell the base that Foley is a Dem and hope that the lemmings don't check other sources.

Randi Rhodes is going to have Jeff Gannon on today. Should be a hoot!

What's that thing I always say? Liberals = hysteria, conspiracy theories?

Sure, it doesn't matter that minor graphics misstatements happen all the time on every channel, or that O'Reilly has spent the last few days driving home points like this:

"The Foley thing points out the difference between Dems and Republicans. The Democrats reelected Gerry Studds. The GOP is shunning Foley."

THE O'REILLY FACTOR. October 3, 2006...

O'Reilly has referred to this a hundred times as a Republican scandal, as has FOX News, but one graphics gliche means they were trying to deceive America. I'ts a conspiracy! Everything is a conspiracy! It's a cook book! Fox News is a cook book!

(I watched lame partisan hack, Keith Olbermann hysterically menstrate about this non-issue last night too, but only you were ridiculous enough to come here and parrot this garbage)

Oh really? Then why are Drudge, Limpdick, Hannity & Savage blaming the victims?

Why is Hastert turning in Seargant Shultz - " I know Nothing! I see Nothing!"

You say that this was not intentional? OK, I can buy that, but means there can only be one other possibility - The people at FOX News are "trailer-trash illiterates".

Remember when
CNN places "X" over VP Cheney's face during live speech.

it was only on the screen for ONE-SEVENTH OF A SECOND.

Comments from the peanut gallery:

"This should come as no small surprise; ...most who can be honest with themselves already know the media are nothing more than mouthpieces for the democratic party."

"I doubt if it was a glitch. CNN has always been anti-Republican and anti-Bush Admin. So I'm really not surprised that CNN would do something like this. I've always called CNN the "Clinton News Network" and the "Communist News Network"."

"CNN admitted that there was an "X" over Cheney. Except they said it was a "glitch", but I know it wasn't. I've studied Mass Media, Journalism, and TV Production for three years; and a "glitch" like that doesn't happen. Especially with a big media company like CNN. And if there are "glitches" in the media, it's only when they accidentally switch to a commercial too soon. That "X" on Cheney was intentional. And the liberals would be all over Fox if they did it to Hilldabeast Clinton, so this isn't a one sided deal."

"the comment that it was but 1/7th of a second long only lends itself to the fact that it was an attempt at a SUBLIMINAL attack on Cheney
it was Bullshit and telling of the mentality at CNN"

"It shows the additude of the people at CNN
It also shows how untrusting many people are of CNN
The lack of crediablitiy makes people suspicious"

"yet the left will never admit that it was even Possible that someone(s) did it on purpose
becuase CNN IS THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS
unless you are not a brainwashed IDIOT"

What's that thing I always say? Cons = hysteria, conspiracy theories?

No, not really.

I believe it's.

Cons are funny. Funny cons. :2wave:

Ha ha thanks for the flashback

If it really happened that's quite an embarrassment however since all talk of such incident online claims the same source......a blog....I'm inclined to not believe that this actually took place at all.
