Romney can't be trusted to do anything he says he will do, because he flip flops. He says he will work across the aisle, but I doubt he will. Claiming Obama hasn't worked across the aisle is rediculous. Obama lost part of his base because he compromised on Obamacare. He used mostly republican ideas instead of creating a universal health care system which is one thing I disagreed with him on. WHen Republicans demanded specific things, Obama said ok, then Republicans would say no. I am a news junky. I watchd it all happen. No president can force the other party to cooperate. I doubt seriously that ROmney would be able to get the Democrats to work with him.
Our progresive tax system is redistribution of wealth. Are you saying Romney would end our tax system? You will have to explain to me what you mean by Romney will not delegate responsibility for his agenda to the Congress. How do you know what kind of budget Romney will propose? He hasn't given any specifics. Romney will probabaly nominate his donors to positions of authority. He also has a lot of former Bush advisors on his team. That tells me he would bring back a lot of the Bush policies that got us in this mess to begin with. Romney has said more recently that he would cut all incomes taxes by 20%. How can he do that and close the deficit?
Your opinion is noted, you were wrong in 2008 and you will be wrong again in 2012. What you seem to have a problem with is you need a govt. central economy and cannot comprehend that a govt. central economy creates debt not economic growth. Still waiting for you to explain to me how keeping more of what you earn is an expense to the federal govt? What is quite telling is how you ignore that the govt. budget isn't a lot different from your own in that IF you have less revenue coming in you spend less, not more.
The problem you have is that with tax cuts govt. revenue grew and 2007 was the bigest year in U.S. history for tax revenue.
