I think the day of the transition should be peaceful, but Trump will seek and achieve amped up chaos in the two weeks preceding - despite potential and actual harm to our country.

3. Trumpies travel to swingstates and mainly Georgia and incite violence and destroys property , plundering shops (Tips to storeowners: that don't have a "I love Trump sign in the window ) killing every black citizient that dares to walk the street
4. Trump supporting state troopers help them.
5. Republicans and democrats both tries to get the situation in controll together and to send military to those swingstates are approved almost unanimously in both the the House of Representatives and in the senate at record speed. At one point Trump goes to the city where most of his followers are in and incite them, waving from his car and talking through a speaker. The military blocks him. He goes out of the car thinking the military will back him(after all he is a sociopath). He is shot down by water canons and crawl back into his car.
6. Trumps daughter Ivanka teams up with the republicans now opposing Trump totally. (telling her father in secret that she only wants to be his spy from within)
7. Trump is dissmissed from the republican party.
8. Trumpies moves on to blue states continuing the distruction but are not backed by statetroopers and are crushed

Well, as good as a guess as any....

On number 1... A joint session of congress, not just the senate, counts the electoral votes... The elections are certified and ascertained by the states... It may seem like picking but there are important legal implications to all the terms.

I'm not convinced the rest will happen... There might be some protests, maybe some violence but I don't see Trump doing anything much different than what he has already done... His support in the GOP with people who actually hold office will dwindle very quickly... I don't see the "military" being involved but probably some state national guards activated by their governors under title 32 (governors in command). The active duty military will be under Trump's command until noon on Jan 20th so there is no scenario where other politicians "send the military" unless Trump issues orders.. The military will refuse any illegal order Trump might give..

Biden will take office on the 20th. Trump will continue to throw a tantrum about it and some members of the republican party will do so as well. Trump's supporters will protest, and the protests may get violent at times, but ultimately they'll achieve nothing.
