I have to give the republicans in the senate an A for effort in their endeavors to free trump with a show trial and no witnesses being called.

In the end will the republicans in the senate be putting themselves on trial for their total disregard of the law and facts?

Democrats proved their contempt for due process by impeaching Trump without allowing any defense witnesses to testify.

I would have loved to see the testimony of Mulvany, Guiliani, and Bolton.

That for sure would have completely exonerated the President.

Impeachment isn't a trial and the dems spoke to many witnesses with republicans present and able to ask questions. Why is this lie still repeated over and over by the right?

I have to give it to the Democrats for not knowing the federal rules of evidence thinking they could provide their 17 hearsay witnesses as evidence, then blaming Republicans for not providing any witnesses as rebuttal for witnesses Democrat can't provide.

Its not a Federal Prosecution or haven't you heard and you apparently don't know what is and what is not hearsay.

Federal rules of evidence in a criminal trial or federal rules of evidence in an impeachment. Which one?

I would be happy to hear from the folks congress sent subpoenaes to who did not comply.

It's tough to present a proper case in the senate when the executive branch has done everything in its power to negate the investigation.

Just a different approach. I really, really try not to call them names although I have a head full of descriptive adjectives that sometimes sneak out. I'm no better, just a different approach that's all.
 
Impeachment was Pelosi and Schiff's retribution for the Pubs impeaching Clinton. It's over now Trump's not going to removed and he's going to be re-elected some say in a landslide. Can we get back to the country's business now Washington?

What's wrong with Hannity and Carlson are you taking shots at freedom of the press? That's what they accuse Trump of when he criticizes the media.

They are not the Press. Hannity has literally said the words. "I am an entertainer". Thank you Sean. Like I DIDN'T KNOW. Carlson doesn't need to say the words as its obvious. Obvious in Hannity's case as well.

Anybody that thinks any of the News Channel Goons are THE PRESS, needs his head examined. At best some of them are commentators. At worst just plain old entertainers. Sort of like DonDon.

Huh? Now someone criticizing hannity and carlson is the equivalent of trump calling the free press the enemy of the people? If you can't see the difference it's because you don't want to see it.

it's like if OJ supporters sat on the jury AND set all the rules AND decided it was over before it started.

these people aren't small government people, don't care about giant debt, don't care about law & order and would pee on the bible to get their politician elected.
