If Trump Were in the Epstein Files and Engaged in Criminal Acts, Would You Support Impeachment?

I 100% support ousting every elected official that's done wrong to kids and prosecute to the fullest extent of the laws

If Trump were in the files, Democrats would have released them (high Democrats are in the files and it wasn't worth it)
I think all presidential candidates should be required to pass the same background checks used to obtain a security clearance. That would probably leave very few candidates to choose from.

I also voted yes to this poll for similar reasons (as well as obvious moral reasons), but I don't expect any evidence to surface.

The Trump DoJ under AG Pam Bondi and the FBI under Kash Patel have the Epstein trial documents (heavily redacted) in their possession.

Epstein is deceased. Why don't they simply release the unredacted Epstein files? Who are they protecting? Donald Trump?

I'd vote for that

and age limit of 65 years old too - we don't need leaders who for the first 50 years of their lives didn't know what a computer or cell phone was

No

If he did, it would have been reprehensible.

But almost certainly outside the statue of limitations and has nothing to do with his official duties as president.

Liberals can't argue that impeaching Clinton over sexual misconduct was wrong (even though Clinton was in office during the misconduct) but impeaching Trump for something that might have happened 20 years ago is okay.

Seems to me there is a big, moral difference between an adult man having sex with a minor, most likely a young teen, who was also sexually trafficked as compared to an adult woman who engaged in consensual sexual activity (by her own account), with an adult man.

Also, with respect to the whataboutism, it goes both ways. Conservatives can't argue that impeaching Clinton over sexual misconduct was the proper course of action, but not impeaching Trump for doing something far worse should be dismissed.

I think that is quite plausible. I'm curious what Elon Musk discovered. He obviously had access to a lot of information, and still does.

Yeah, Trump doesn't even know Epstein!

Trump banned Epstein from Mara Logo after he found out that Epstein was a paedophile.
The Democrat politicians and celebrities kept taking rides on his plane even after they knew that he had been convicted of trafficking minors.
The premise of this thread is full of holes.

Didn't the Biden administration have access to the "Epstein files"?
I have no doubt some Dems and other prominent people are on that list.

Sure, but that wasn't my point. Biden had the list the entire time he was president. Dems played every card in their deck to get Trump in prison before the election. If there was anything there, they would have played this one in a heartbeat.

Epstein's criminal defense attorney, David Schoen put an end to the rumors and the Musk allegation last night. Sorry to ruin the Trump haters' fun but Trump is not a pedophile.

As not to be accused of spamming the forum with a tweet, you may view David Schoen's statement here: Post #320

The evidence is : Trust me bro.

Indeed

Schoen is also Trump’s personal attorney, he represented Trump during the impeachment.

Schoen apparently had just met Epstein a few days before he died.

Odd coincidence, eh?

Also, apparently Schoen represented Roger Stone and Bannon as well.

Oh I definitely trust him now! A guy like that would never lie! Not on Twitter!

😂

And by criminal acts, I mean had sex with a minor.
It wouldn't surprise me at all. I support impeachment with or without Epstein tapes involvement or hard core evidence of pedophilia.

He has many other violations to warrant an impeachment, he should not have made it to office a second time. A successful impeachment would best for our country, our government, our citizens, our environment, our health, our health care and our allies. Basically best for the future of America.

I agree that the GOP were hypocrites impeaching Clinton, especially with how many of them had mistresses on the side. (Gingrich, Livingston, Henry Hyde, etc.)

That said, we see a bunch of innuendos against a lot of people, and no real evidence against anyone.

No. We don’t impeach Presidents for things they did prior to their Presidency. Otherwise it would be part of the inauguration ceremony.

Clinton was factually guilty of the impeachment charges brought against him

Clinton was factually guilty of the impeachment charges brought against him

That no reasonable person thought he ever should have been charged with.

He lied about a personal matter he found embarrassing.

That was it.

During a lawsuit that was dismissed multiple times for having no legal merit.

so you agree

so you agree
That what Clinton was impeached for was bull-droppings? Absolutely.

Especially since the people accusing him (Gingrich, Hyde, LIvingstone) engaged in the same behavior.

No. That he was guilty of the things he was impeached for?
