If the dems are so crooked, why is it that almost every day we read about another republican being in legal trouble?

Because all cops (including the ones that the Dems want to "defund") are deep state actors who are in on it and they are persecuting and witch hunting us

See, I think Democrats are better at criminal activity and Republicans are just too stupid to cover their shit up all that well.

To answer the q in the title. There are millions of Republicans and millions of Democrats. Every day some of each will be in 'legal trouble', not a few of whom will be the victims of false accusation.

That may or may not be true, however, what is true is many of these republicans get busted for things they rail against. Oh lord, boo hoo, forgive me for going astray. What they should say is Oh lord, forgive me for getting caught cause now I'm in deep shit.

The difference is when democrats get busted, they accept it, own it and move on. When republicans get busted, it's always someone else's fault, they are a victim, deep state lies, witch hunt, fake news, etc. It never ends with these people.

Nonetheless and even if the numbers are "screwed up", the bottom line is that there are many more criminal indictments and Republicans actually "put in jail" than the Democrats.

You can try to find excuses but the reality is this:

Republicans put in jail = 39
Democrats put in jail = 1

Argue against that!

To be fair, LBJ was on the road to being indicted when he became president, as I understand. I've heard a major magazine had a cover story about his crime planned for the issue they had to replace it with the assassination.

Yeah, it's been noticed more than a few times that when a crooked politician is arrested / charged / indicted, if they are Republican it's prominently reported, often in the headlines, where as if the crooked politician is a Democrat that fact is buried in the story in the last few paragraphs, if at all.

The media being political activists and propagandists rather than unbiased reporters of the news.

There are things called facts. Either the media is liberal and hiding the facts that Democrats are much more criminal, or you are a right-wing cult member who thinks that the facts that are accurately reported that Republicans are far more criminal are false, about which you are wrong, and you call the media 'liberal' the way cult members attack 'outsiders' for telling the truth. Guess which it is.

Calm down. I didn't excuse anything. I posted an opinion that media can be the cause. So you disagree with that. But your argument doesn't convince me that my opinion is invalid. It doesn't explain anything. It just provides some numbers without context or backup. It may be correct. Post #4 doesn't convince me. It is political and politics is humanity at its worst.

No, political hacks never would on either side of the aisle. I'm not a political hack or even a partisan. I find politics to be horrible but entertaining. I enjoy commenting about it.

You are right about politics and humanity being bad. Nonetheless, the point is that there is more of that bad among Republicans than among Democrats. It is to be expected though, given that the Republicans platform favors individual gains while the Democratic platform favors team gains. Individual gains lead to greed running rampant while team gains leads to everyone getting a "bite of the pie".
