While I'm surely not going to condone Trump's tactics, I can only imagine the plight of our citizens living on the border. Not just CA, but AZ, NM, & TX - too.

This simply went on for too long, and too much.

That's why it's blowing-up like this, and why so many of our fellow Americans are reacting & supporting actions that Americans otherwise would not support.

But while I understand the motivations, I am extremely alarmed over the cause evolving into Nationalism & Authoritarianism.

Trump is trying to turn the protests into some kind of Reichstag moment to seize even more power.

Academic freedom and freedom of speech more generally are under attack.

The press is under attack - attacking the president can now cost you your job.

The judiciary is under attack.

Corporations have acquiesced into giving up DEI programs.

Federal forces are being deployed to suppress public protest and undermine State law and order. And this is only 5 months in - think where we will be in another 3.5 years at this rate.

Hell, spend a week in La Puente or Pico Rivera.... Ensenada might actually be safer - more people will speak English..

You've got to ascertain you've got the right guy, the right charge, and the deportation is being done in accordance with Constitutional principles.

It's called Habeas Corpus, and SCOTUS has already weighed-in on this along with the Lessor Courts.

If government agents doing their job is an incentive to violence then so is abandoning your vehicle. It's like in 2020 when owning a business was the cause of getting that business vandalized and burned to the ground. The protesters are entirely peaceful but capitalists and law enforcement have cause all this rioting because they exist!

Like most Democrat politicians and many of their voters, they supported the flood of migrants, and now support keeping them in the USA to use them to increase both electoral votes in the Blue sanctuary States and as future dedicated Democrat voters.
