Exactly. Portland has gone from 653,344 population in 2020 to 615,267 in 2025 (from 2024 data.) Chicago has gone from 2,743,329 to 2,611,867. No need for ICE and the NG. Trump has his supporters confused.

Yes, the trend has turned around in many cities, but there is still a net loss from 2020.

The census numbers show the phenomenon. Large, densely populated cities had been in decline since 2020. Nearly all have reversed that trend. You have to go down to #32 Albuquerque to find a city that hasn't.
