Post #47That's not at all true. When anyone interferes with their lawful duties they have the authority to detain and refer for prosecution.
It appears he was arrested for demanding to see a warrant.
What ICE wants supercedes our legal system?ICE doesn’t require a warrant.
"Leviticus 19:33-34 instructs that when a foreigner lives among you in your land, they should be treated with the same respect and love as a native-born Israelite. Specifically, the passage says, "When a foreigner resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. You shall love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God," according to the New International Version. "

All you have to do now is prove ICE agents have the legal right to arrest, detain, and "refer for prosecution" American citizens.
Copies and pastes of excerpts from credible sources to which you provide the links.
Walking into and out of court does not satisfy that law.
To quote Napoleon "lol."
Good times!
Oh dear... accompanying!!! The horror!!!From your source:
“Apparently, Lander has been accompanying immigrants exiting immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza and Lower Manhattan to help shield them from possible detention by ICE.”
If you have a removal order then ICE, lawfully, can apprehend you pursuant to removal. If someone interferes with that process then they are in violation of section 111 and THEY can be arrested too.Walking into and out of court does not satisfy that law.
What interference? If you have a removal order then ICE, lawfully, can apprehend you pursuant to removal. If someone interferes with that process then they are in violation of section 111 and THEY can be arrested too.
Kidnapping thugs. One day, they will drop in on the wrong citizen.Yeah… and?
They didn’t have a warrant, they were wearing street clothes. They refused to identify themselves.
They are an out of control agency.
They could show the removal order. If you have a removal order then ICE, lawfully, can apprehend you pursuant to removal. If someone interferes with that process then they are in violation of section 111 and THEY can be arrested too.
So, as far as you're concerned, obstructing federal agents in their official duties is 100% lawful?
How fascist of them.ICE doesn’t require a warrant.
So much for going after the criminals. They could show the removal order.
But they probably didn’t have one.
They were there to scoop up people who showed up to court trying to follow the law.
Thugs are gonna thug.
