The judge had just granted the immigrant a non-removal order. They could show the removal order.
But they probably didn’t have one.
They were there to scoop up people who showed up to court trying to follow the law.
Stuff like walking them out the back door of your courtroom or using your security team to shield them from apprehension. What interference?
All ICE are bastards.ICE arrested a US citizen in an immigration court.
That US citizen is the NYC comptroller and mayoral candidate.
Reports are also that Lander’s NYPD security was also arrested.
This is a reminder that ICE has no authority over US citizens.
If they don’t want to look like the gestapo… they should stop doing gestapo like things.
NYC mayoral candidate Brad Lander arrested, released by ICE

ICE is under no obligation to show the administrative warrant to anyone other than the detainee or their authorized representative. You are not an "authorized representative" just because you plant your hippie ass between ICE and the detainee. They could show the removal order.
But they probably didn’t have one.
They were there to scoop up people who showed up to court trying to follow the law.
And that is a felony.
Is that what happened?Stuff like walking them out the back door of your courtroom or using your security team to shield them from apprehension.
Oh, so now you don't really know if these were ICE agents? At this point all you know is that some unidentified thugs tried to snatch some poor person off the street but you're going to blame it on ICE because....why?Is that what happened?
Shielding someone from unidentified people would seem to be perfectly legal, anyway.
ICE appears to be serving as Trump's personal thugs.ICE arrested a US citizen in an immigration court.

So, you don't know what happened, but you assert the law was violated. Easily dismissed.Oh, so now you don't really know if these were ICE agents? I see the video of that female student getting grabbed on the street...if she'd had pepper spray, she would have had every right to defend herself from a possible assault/kidnapping.Not so much. One of the things to resisting or obstruction of a Federal Agent is you have to know it is a Federal Agent. A masked idiot without identification or even a badge number is possibly impersonating a cop, see the damned RW Trump Fanboy who was hunting Democrats in Wisconsin for the dangers of that.
So NYPD officers wear badges with numbers on them, as do pretty much all the other cops. Nametags are also worn to say I'm a cop, my name is Franklin, and my authority is now established.
The law is what MAGAts say it is... who's stopping them? So, you don't know what happened, but you assert the law was violated. Easily dismissed.
Nothing has been obstructed. So, as far as you're concerned, obstructing federal agents in their official duties is 100% lawful?
Doesn't matter because administrative warrants hold no more authority than a dinner menuICE is under no obligation to show the administrative warrant to anyone other than the detainee or their authorized representative. even you must be able to see how ****ed up this is to come to court to arrest those in the system already. And that is a felony.
They don’t seem to have the paperwork handyApprehending people with removal orders
LOL, how embarrassing for FOX.Love Fox News:
"Lander has faced criticism for speeding violations despite pushing for stricter traffic laws."
They don't always need a warrant.Yeah… and?
They didn’t have a warrant, they were wearing street clothes. They refused to identify themselves.
They are an out of control agency.
Oh, he knows what he's doing. He doesn't believe anything he posts. You have to decide how long you can do this before you get bored.even you must be able to see how ****ed up this is to come to court to arrest those in the system already.
No, based on your other posts today, you don't.
They can arrest someone they suspect of being in the country illegally. They don't always need a warrant.
Do ICE agents need a warrant to make arrests? Often the answer is no
Questions regarding ICE protocols swirl as Massachusetts communities witness a surge in immigration arrests.www.wbur.org
There's a ****ing video of what happened. It was posted in the article in the OP of this thread. So, you don't know what happened, but you assert the law was violated. Easily dismissed.
Under no law. Obstructing ICE arresting an undocumented alien is a crime.Walking with immigrants is now cause for arrest and detention by ICE?
Under what law?
That's not true. The administrative process is established by statute and the statute is established by congress. You can ignore the LAW all you like but ignorance isn't a valid basis for a rational opinion.Doesn't matter because administrative warrants hold no more authority than a dinner menu
