ICE agents denied entry to Dodger Stadium

Why would the Dodger Organization want ICE agents on Dodger property looking like thugs and hassling/abusing Dodger fans?

Go raid Mar-a-Lago and Trump's golf courses.

Their agencies, and not just federal agencies. Local and state law enforcement agencies also use this tech. It's as much for officer safety as it is for evidence to be used in court. And the evidence is just as applicable for evidence for/against suspects as it is for/against officers' behaviors. The tracking systems are always on and collecting data as well, and when matched up with video evidence can tell a complete story of officers' actions at any given time.
Yelling or even cursing at an agent isn’t illegal

That's not accurate. The video does not sure up close what happened in the middle of the scuffle, which is when the punch could've occurred. Regardless, everything he was doing before that was illegal and the punch is secondary anyway. They had every right to intervene as he was interfering, and pushing his way past multiple agents repeatedly telling him to disperse. All of that is illegal and caught on camera.
The agent got out of his truck and pushed him to the ground and multiple agents jumped on him beating on him. Stop making excuses for bad behavior. There are no punches from him in that video

It's a scam. The ICE wing of the DHS is required to fill a quota... 3,000 arrests per day no matter what. No excuses. So they force confrontations and presto.... their daily quota is achieved.

And ICE uses 287 (g) [a section of the Immigration and Nationality Act] to dragoon (~600) local law enforcement agencies.

The locals have no training in Immigration Law and contribute to the underwater reputation of ICE.

No they aren’t, many police precincts across the country can barely budget for body cams but you’ve invented this advanced tracking tech they’re all using. and that’s why they’re wearing masks and hiding their identification - so video can’t determine who is kidnapping people off our streets.

There have been initial numerous rulings by the lower courts constraining ICE's action but later were overturned by the Supreme Court, the latest being the Biden administration's humanitarian parole program (CHNV) for 532,000 immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua.

There's some (not sure how many) of temporary rulings made against ICE but not all have resulted or will result in final rulings.
Seems like since the SC has been involved, about half of the lower courts rulings have remained while the rest have been overturned by the higher court. I would say the judicial system is doing exactly what it's meant to do.

Yes, we have an illegitimate Supreme Court acting as a backstop for right wing legislation that the GOP cant pass with voting. And?

ICE, is primarily focused on detaining violent illegal aliens with known criminal records, but to answer your question, a new poll shows that 56% favor deporting illegal aliens.

This is a strawman fallacy.

Clearly they are not, as we see from the video. They busted a store janitor.

How is it a strawman?

And so it begins. Pretend that this is perfectly normal.
Wouldn’t that be “immigrant derangement syndrome”?

Let’s steal that one and ram it down their throats!

Well, there is the point made by someone in this thread that the Dodgers don’t want their fan base ****ed with at their home stadium. Bad for business.

Thought yall were the business first party?
I think I have frequently posted around here that I am neither a follower of the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party, so who you are referencing in a communications aimed at me that is using *y'all* allows for question marks to start floating over the upper atmosphere of this work station; UNLESS you forgot the upper-case use and there is a Business First Party - - - being an Independent would allow me to explore membership in the Business First Party. Got any party literature to offer?

I clicked on the link. I read the article.

Beginning ~ Snippet from the article follows.

““This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled,” the team said in a statement posted on X.

“However, ICE confirmed that their agents were not at Dodger Stadium.”

There is video

In our defence, CBP is for the border, and there’s no border anywhere near LA. In fact, they only showed up there because they needed a place to park their cars.

They aren’t supposed to be operating there, they have no base of operations because they aren’t supposed to be there.

Oh right, Trump is ordering them to harass, intimidate, and terrorize civilians in blue areas. He’s using the federal government as a weapon against American citizens. And his bootlicking supporters love it.
I like “lickspittle dogs”.

Y’all is a term for a group.

In this case it’s your side on this issue. There are several sub groups. “Y’all” is easier than compiling a list.

Doesn't matter. Everything else he did was already illegal. If there's a punch, he'll be charged for it. If no video shows a punch, then he will certainly face other charges for all the other crimes he committed, but not one for punching an officer.

It's also certain that all the tracking and body cam footage hasn't been made available to the public.
The cameras they can turn off whenever they want?

This is a strawman fallacy.
No it isn’t.

What it is is a qualification of y’all’s boilerplate responses.

Most if not all of y’all’s responses are “failure to draw the line” fallacies.
