ICE agents denied entry to Dodger Stadium

"Simple" is a perfect way to describe what you just said.

But no, open border policies do not mean literally no border control. When conservatives -- like me and not you -- refer to open border policies we are referring to written and unwritten policies that tolerate -- and thus encourage -- illegal immigration. The examples I provided here in MA are in fact examples of open border policies.
So what are these "written" policies?

N

No you didn't. I asked for documented evidence. You provided none.
And I'm not here to do your research for you. I live here. You do not. If you want to wallow in a sloppy mix of ignorance and arrogance, be my guest. If you want to become informed, Google is your friend. Descriptions of the policies I mentioned are easily found on the web.

I am telling you what conservatives mean when they say "open border policies" -- policies that facilitate illegal immigration. You don't get to make up what conservatives mean and don't mean when we describe these policies. Arguing that MA lacks an international border is more than dumb since the issue is illegal immigration, of which we have much. It's also foolish to limit the discussion to physical border security since the most common form of illegal immigration stems from the overstay of visas. The "border," conceptually, is everywhere within the US.

You're not interested in solving this problem, and that is you're right, but you're in no credible position to tell me what I mean or don't mean. That's just stupid.
If you're using "open borders" to describe something other than actual open borders, then your description is stupid. You just want a buzzword, that's all.

No, what I want is immigration law enforcement, and that is precisely the opposite of what the open borders crowd wants.

Even if true, perhaps the red states aren't the ones with the open border policies and thus more attractive to illegal immigrants?
They sure are now that Trump has declared sanctuary industries. Migrants will likely travel to red states for jobs and protection in industries Trump deemed off limits.

I am not Trump. If you ask me, I want immigration law enforced in every US state and in every US industry.

And you think that lying about what open borders means is the way to get immigration enforcement?

I can’t wait for the day when all these “ICE” and “CBP” etc agents face juries for their participation as jackboots.

🤷‍♀️

That day will eventually come.

And that’s why they hide their faces. Because they know what they are doing is wrong.

Instead we get Tacos for everyone and everything. I shudder with what our economy is going to look like in 3 years of this nonsense.

There is no federal martial law.

No one in the federal government can declare martial law.

There's no law and nothing in the Constitution to enable or authorize a federal martial law.

Governors can do it in their states, but the Potus has no authority to implement martial law.

Trump was really bummed out when he heard this. The feds not able to impose martial law precludes a Constitutional crisis between the military that won't do it and the Blood Lusting Generalissimo Trump who wants civilian American blood in the streets of America.

Ah, large glass of deflection.

There are no "open border policies" except in the easily groomed minds of MAGAts.
Not a single Trumper can ever point to this supposed “open border policy”. It’s just the concept of a plan only visible to them and apparently never an actual policy in writing. I went through the border a couple times during this period and it was very clear it was not open if at least half of your brain was working.

Well, we saw on video that federal agents were using the parking lot of dodger stadium to stage their harassment campaign against democratic Los Angeles.

Only the most extreme right wing biased individuals would think that the distinction you misleadingly made was meaningful.

All I seen were a few vehicles driving around.
