Me too. Pleased we could find common ground.I want agents to be held accountable when they abuse their power

Godwin alert!'But I was just following orders...', said every convicted Nazi.
No, they are not acting illegally. That's just you blowing smoke.Immigration laws include Constitutional protections and due process. Your government is acting illegally and unconstitutionally by deporting those people without them having had access to legal representation as the law requires. Then again when did convicted felon Trump ever give a damn about the law?
Nonsense. Your Fourth and Fifth Amendments, which I suggest you read, make no mention of 'situational' whatever. You're pissing against the wind mate. Never a good idea. For those who seem confused:

Constitutional rights are situational if your are not a US citizen or lack legal immigration status.
You do not understand federal immigration law.Nonsense. Your Fourth and Fifth Amendments, which I suggest you read, make no mention of 'situational' whatever. You're pissing against the wind mate. Never a good idea.
If they are acting contrary to the Constitution which you Americans hold so dear, they are absolutely breaking the law. Why does something so simple need explaining, again and again? Good grief! No, they are not acting illegally. That's just you blowing smoke.

Source: https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/amdt5-6-2-3/ALDE_00013726/The Supreme Court, however, has suggested that the extent of due process for aliens present in the United States may vary depending upon [the alien’s] status and circumstance. For instance, at times the Court has indicated that at least some of the constitutional protections to which an alien is entitled may turn upon whether the alien has been admitted into the United States or developed substantial ties to this country.

streamlined “expedited removal” process, which affords fewer procedural protections to the alien than
standard removal proceedings and typically results in the quicker expulsion of the alien from the United
States.
You're tasting your post's own ignorance.I can almost taste the irony and smell the ignorance. Federal law is subject to the Constitution, not the reverse.

Good try. Your link states clearly that undocumented migrants are still entitled to due process. There are parts of the Constitution you simply are unaware of or do not understand. The Constitution grants Congress the authority over naturalization matters, and the due process afforded aliens is limited.

If you're going to try to lecture people on the US Constitution, you might want to learn more about it, first.
I never said they were not. They're just not subject to the same due process as US citizens, and that is the mistake you keep making.Good try. Your link states clearly that undocumented migrants are still entitled to due process.
There are arguments about due process and crime, yes, but not innocent people who have been deported arbitrarily, en masse.I never said they were not. They're just not subject to the same due process as US citizens, and that is the mistake you keep making.
Um, that's the cite I already posted. Didn't you both to read it either time? There are these words (emphasis added):
The Supreme Court, however, has suggested that the extent of due process for aliens present in the United States may vary depending upon [the alien’s] status and circumstance.4 For instance, at times the Court has indicated that at least some of the constitutional protections to which an alien is entitled may turn upon whether the alien has been admitted into the United States or developed substantial ties to this country.5 Thus, there is some uncertainty regarding the extent to which due process considerations constrain Congress’s exercise of its immigration power with respect to aliens within the United States.
Read my edited post.Um, that's the cite I already posted. Didn't you both to read it either time? There are these words (emphasis added):
This fully supports my assertion illegal immigrants do not enjoy the same due process rights as US citizens.
Suggest you give it a rest. You're doing yourself no favors.
Your edit makes no difference. "Due process" is not one thing, and that what you fail to understand.Read my edited post.
So what? They're not US citizens and do not enjoy the rights of US citizens.
The point is that it does not protect them equally. See post 433.The US constitution protects everyone in the US.
Even me if I'm on holiday in the US.
They have the right to due process.

Yes, I've seen that before. Godwin becomes a victim of his own law. Rather amusing.
This is irrelevant to the discussion. This is the right’s march towards defining who gets to remain Americans in addition who gets to be Americans. Remember these are the same conservatives who insist 2A is a “God given right that no man can take away” while also telling us constitutional rights are fungible. The translation guide goes like this: now that migrants no longer look like their grandparents, they’re illegal and criminals.
The cite in post 433 proves that statement to be false. What proof do you have that what you claim is true? (And here were are, again.)Not in terms of due process. That is to be appled equally in all circumstances.
