We’re at a point in our country where politicians from both parties (including Trump) are above the law. And if there ARE prosecutions of politicians, whether those prosecutions are legitimate or not, they are almost ALWAYS political. Even prosecutions of politicians done by administrations from the same party are politically motivated. People like to point to the prosecutions of Bob Menendez, Henry Cuellar, and Eric Adams by the Biden DoJ to claim that Biden wasn’t partisan because those three were fellow Democrats, but all three had criticized him over various issues.
