I was refused a firearm and I have no felonies, am not a terrorist, no domestic violence, no convictions for anything since I was eighteen.

Why do you want a firearm?

Why did you want a gun?

Why did you want a gin
Hunter also left his gun just out in the open across the street from a school..

Not cool.

So how much is this "extortionate" sum, who's asking for it and what does it get you?

you use loose powder or pellets? wads or maxiballs or sabot's or ??

Hey @bongsaway , there is hope. The organizations that you hate are working to get your rights restored.

The National Rifle Association, Second Amendment Foundation, Firearms Policy Coalition, and FPC Action Foundation teamed up on an amicus brief urging the Court to accept the case and address the question of "whether the Second Amendment permits the government to disarm an American citizen because he has been convicted of a non-violent fraud offense."

@bongsaway, there has been a law on the books for years that allowed non-violent felons to have their cases reviewed and their Second Amendment rights restored. However, in 1992 Democrats in Congress cut funding for the program, which has resulted in zero rights restorations for decades.

However, this roadblock is being eliminated and otherwise law-abiding people who made a youthful error years ago will have a chance to get their rights restored after appropriate review.

Thanks to Trump, Bondi and the NRA. Be sure to express your thanks generously.

Because you're a liberal male, and therefore a danger to polite society.

Umm, there are quite a lot of us - and we live just fine in 'polite society'.
No danger.
Maybe you should consider moving.

I already moved, from Deep Blue NY to a deep red county in NC. Thanks.
I was thinking maybe another country might suit you better.
No liberals there?
Are you sure?
Stay safe and don’t venture out.

You can look at my screen name for my reaction to that.

Liberals here, in my adopted county, are few and far between. And very low crime rate. Funny how that works...

Ok

Crime is pretty low in most places these days. Where I am too.
Did you leave NY out of fear?
And has been the case since Mesopotamia violence is more concentrated in the cities pretend that it somehow lower than it is everywhere else just because there is population density and throws off the rate dishonest.

I'm far more likely to be killed in cargo then I am hanging around the church of a rural town in maga country.

Care to share what the tricky question is?
First one is a yes followed by all no’s.
I still read them just to make sure nothing was changed.

If a convicted felon wants a gun. He's getting a gun. Denying them the legal route is kind of moot.
Not really because it gives law enforcement a mechanism to prevent a larger crime.
If I stop a convicted felon and he has a firearm he goes back into jail making it less likely he will commit another crime.
Recidivism rates being what they are….

I lived in Onondaga County. I left because of the punitive real estate taxes. And Mario Cuomo.
Ah, Syracuse. Used to travel though there periodically.
Real estate taxes do suck, I must agree. I think mine are too high as well.
Cuomo, though? He hasn't held office for over 30 years, and has been dead since 2015. You might think about letting go of that. It's unhealthy.

.

I left in '96. You couldn't pay me enough to move back there.
